What's true?

Maybe the
lack of that,
will make
you appreciate
the things
you have.
Maybe the power
you are desiring
to have is
better not
for you to have
to realize you
are stronger
without it.
Maybe the
the fear you
are afraid to
face, is the way
to success on
your race.
I felt in my heart
how to be
at the end of the
line,
but it is also the
reason why I
shine.
Because, the thing
that you thought
will weaken you,
is the very thing
that going to prove
what's true.

Hi! I'm Yssamine C. Pura, grade 10-Industrious, running for secretary! Ugh, that words got stuck in my mind for I spoke it multiple times! Hey! How are you? We just got a campaign earlier, and I have this friend who is really beautiful and smart. She is part of our party list. Now, take note that I told God that I'm going to present HIM! And this campaign will be for HIS glory. Bur guess what? I ended up envying her. Who wouldn't? She's confident, she's smart and she's beautiful. It made me realize how ugly I am for this world, especially that every time we walk out a room, students keep praising her. Anddddddd there is more (ugh, this is just a tiring day. My friend who turned cold made this more tiring. Hays, I hope he's alright.) Guess what? I'm going to compete my cousin! My cousin whom I get jealous too! You might say that I easily get jealous, yes, you're right. That's me :). My friend guessed who's going to win earlier and he said that is seems like my cousin's gonna win over me. That's double kill. And the expectation of my parents, that's triple kill. But God is good. Everything has a reason and there are a lot to learn from mistakes. There are a lot to learn from my weaknesses. Like Hades said in 'Wrath of Titans'

"Who knows? Maybe losing my power will make me more stronger."
