It was the day my Oldest brother died.
He was our rock.
The person we always relied on.
And he was gone just like that.
No one knew who did it.
9 years later no one still knows.
I'm the 4th child in my family the oldest of the two middle children. The oldest of the triplets was Halilintar, second Taufan, third Gempa, fifth Ais, sixth Duri and the youngest Solar. I'm Blaze the fourth one currently 24 years old. I was 15 when he died thats why I became a detective/ police officer to stop what happened to us happen again. He was 18 when he died had a great future infront of him as a surgeon. It was a normal day he went out to get some groceries he never came back. Days later we found his body it was dumped in the woods. He had bruises and cuts all over he must put up one hell of a fight said the officer, as he should have my brother would never go down with out a fight....

Taufan became a teacher he said he always wanted to teach and he's damn good at it too. Gempa became a children's nurse I envy those kids they are lucky to have mama Gem look after them. Ais became a chef he always loved to cook and he once became fat because of it too. Duri became a wildlife biologist he was a had a green thumb scratch that a green body this kid could turn a seed in to a jungle in a week. And Solar became a lawyer he could always get his way and was the capitan school debate team they never lost a match while he was there.
I've been working in this field for 4 years but as the 10th anniversary of our brother's death was just an year away I decided it's time my brother got some justice and time that asshole got what he deserved. I went to my capitan, Captain Kaizo he was know to be strict but once you get to know him he's a sweet heart plus it helped that his younger brother and I are friends and that he's on my team. His brother is Fang our weapons specialist he is fast strong and agile he specializes in guns and hand to hand combat. Next is Gopal our medical expert he will give us a run down of the patients condition and is also a master at phycology but stupid at every day stuff. Next is Yaya and Ying our detectives and profilers both are very fast and smart they are two people not to be messed with and don't let them near the kitchen. Our last member is Ocho we call him Ochobot because he is our technical expert and why not.
I knocked on the door. "Come in" a voice came from inside I went in to find Kaizo sitting on his chair papers neatly stacked on his desk and nothing out of order in the office. " Blaze you never come here unless it's important so spill the beans" straight to the point good old capitan "Capitan I was wondering if I could open the Deadwood murder case again" the case was named after the woods they found my brother in. Kiazo's face morphed in to a surprised one "next year means 10 years right?" of course he knew the team was practically family by now " Yes sir I want my family to have some closure and to get my brother justice. "You have my permission, reopen the case again I'll get in ouch with the officer that worked on the case" I gave him a smile of gratitude "Thank you capitan" he gave me a soft rare smile of his "Sure kid now get out of my office" I got out of there a dumb rookie didn't obey this and Kiazo was having a bad day, a coffee mug some curses some threats were flung the rookie was scared shitless of Kaizo after that.
I went to my desk after the lunch break to find a box on my desk. the box contained the case that nearly destroyed my family, the one that took away my brother and the one that haunts me to this day after 9 years.
The Deadwood Case
