Chapter 4

"Don't wait for things in your life to change before you feel better. Feel better now and watch things in your life change."

"This shit nice as hell. We gone need a bunch of shots, hell I'll tell them bring the bottle," Lee said while grabbing my hand pulling me through the crowded club. It was so huge so it was packed to the max. We were currently being excorted to our table that Lee had reserved.

"Mhm, I'm ready. Thank you baby, this is much needed."

"You know I got you forever and always. AY! AY! I know you here me," she shouted at one of the bottles girls passing by, " Can we please get a bottle of Casamigos and Hennessey?"

The girl scrunched up her face while writing it down, "You want both? Ew."

We looked at each other quick cause that what the fuck she said, right?

"Obviously I want both if thats what I just said. You know what go get me another bottle or even better, where your manager?" I said. Nobody came here for attitude. Its a chill night.

"I will get you another bottle girl and notify my manager of your request." She walked away quickly and I just shook my head. Why be in the service industry if you are not a people person or you don't know how to put on a mask to get your job done properly? Somethings are just common sense. Then got the nerve to go crazy when no tips are left on the table.

"Fuck her, but yea this my shit!" I got up twerking and Lee started joining me. The DJ was playing F.N.F by Glorilla and you know a bitch gone turn up. Had ro make it clap for the one time. IYKTYK! I felt so free for once. No extra thoughts or feelings. Just being me with my bestie.

"Hi, my name is Ava and I'm your bottle girl tonight. So if there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. Oh hey Shy!" I looked up in surprise at Ava looking so pretty in her uniform.

"Hey girl, I didn't know you worked two jobs. I see you though, make that money don't let it make you." We all laughed and she explained how she was in school and pushing to buy her first home so she was going to get her coins by any mean necessary.

Black girl magic.

"Ava, I know you not over here conversating instead of serving our guests! I don't pay you to stand around." Ava began laughing at the man so we began to laugh too. He was tall and handsome. Tattoos everywhere on him. I couldn't get past his smile. God took his time with this man.

"Man please, I know these guests Sin. Use your thinker." Ava said as she tapped his head playfully. "This is Shya and Aliyah. Guys, this is my annoying boss slash brother from anotha, Sin."

"Hey"

"Hi"

"Wassup ya'll, I was told that there was a problem with the service, so I came over to see what I could do to fix that." He said while licking his lips at me.

I felt Lee nudge me and heard Ava clear her throat. I was too busy looking at his lips to realize they were waiting on me to answer him. Shit, why I gotta do it. Bullshit.

"Um, the problem was already solved. I do appreciate the gesture though." I said looking anywhere but in his eyes. His demenor was so confident, it's giving very much manly.

"Yo Sin!" a dark skin man called. He came walking up smiling hard as hell. He was dressed equally as nice as Sin. You could tell they had money even though they weren't too flashy. I liked that. "Introduce me, nigga."

"Gimme a damn minute, you just got over here dummy. Ladies, this is my brother Gee. Gee, this is Aliyah and Shya."

We all laughed at them. They were very much brothers talking to each other like that. We shook hands and continued to party.

"Ya'll crazy, I'm finna head back to work. Call me if ya'll need anything," Ava said, getting up.

"Nah, I'll pay you for the night. Let's party with ya friends, sis." Sin replied. Ava looked shocked for a second but nodded her head before saying she was going to change.

"You wanna dance?" He said looking at me. I hesitated at first but its just a dance I thought. That should be fine.

"I'll be back Lee."

"We coming too," She said grabbing Gee's hand and dragging him in front of us. He just shrugged his shoulders.

We got to the dance floor and Ay Ladies by Travis Porter came on. I got in front of Sin and started twerking. I could definetly tell he was enjoying himself as we continued to dance. I was having so much fun. Ava joined us and we starting taking shots on the dance floor. I was bending over to touch my toes and I felt myself being snatched up.

"WHAT THE FUCK YOU THINK YOU DOING SHYA!" Javon yelled in my face.

I don't know if it was the liquor or just me seeing his face but something told me to punch him. I cocked my fist back and punched that nigga right in his stupid ass face.

"Bitch, don't you touch me. I'll kill your stupid ass. You ain't no nigga of mine." I yelled.

He tried to jump up in my face but Sin and Gee snatched his ass up fast as hell. They began walking with him so we followed. Everyone in the club just acted as though they were oblivious to what was going on. We walked into a room in the back of the club where men were gambling, smoking and talking. It was filled with smoke. Once we walked in the all stood up and watched us.

"Ay, who this nigga?" One man walked up and asked.

"We gone teach him a lesson about respecting females. Ya'll know what to do. If ya'll don't want to watch, I suggest you go out and wait for us," Sin said looking at me, Ava, and Lee.

"I'm not going anywhere." I said. Lee and Ava nodded their heads. I was so curious.

The men began to put the stuff down that they were orginally doing. The man who first spoke grabbed Javon out of Sin's grasp. He then instructed Javon to get into his fighting stance. Javon looked scared out of his mind. I wanted to see if he would actually fight back since I have never seen him fight. Javon squared up but as soon as he did, the man started raining fists at him. The man stuck out his hand and tagged the next person. This man kicked Javon straight in the face. No warning.

Javon flew back hitting the wall and dropped to the floor. That man tagged another man and he went straight to beating his ass. This went on till Sin said that's enough. Javon looked as though he was almost lifeless. That's the price to pay though.

"The decision is yours, should he live or die?" Sin said. Everyone looked at me.

"Let him live, I think he's learned. I will said this," I walked over to him. "I told you earlier and I'm telling you now. I will not hesitate to kill you. You will not bother me again."
