It has been a few months since I was in bed with Roger, and he hasn't talked to me since. Which is understandable, right? I mean, shagging some random girl, who just happens to be one of your best mates best friend. Even though I understand it, and he has all the right to do that, there is still a part of me that just really wishes he would call me. I haven't seen the band since, Freddie says they are busy with work stuff, maybe that's why Roger hasn't called. I don't want to make any assumptions, and I also don't want to force them to talk to me.

Freddie had booked a meal out for the two of us tonight, just a little friendly catch-up really. He was supposed to be here half an hour ago, he still wasn't here. I was on the verge of calling him when I heard a knock at the door. I walked up to it and opened it, and Freddie was stood there, looking rather tired.

"Freddie, are you alright? You look dreadful."

"Thanks darling, no offence taken. Just come back from rehearsals with the boys."

"How was it? How is everyone?" I asked, hoping he would maybe say something about Roger.

"It was good, everyone is fine. Roger though, keeps telling us about this girl, apparently the best sex he's ever had, but he hasn't talked to her in months, and is scared in case she doesn't remember him or care about him anymore. Anyway let's go." As Freddie said those words about Roger I instantly knew it was me, I mean who else could Roger have been shagging, and not talking to in months. I mean I know Freddie said he was the ladies man, but surely. I just hope he doesn't try to call while I'm out with Freddie and can't answer, I don't want to give him the wrong impression.

Me and Freddie made it to a very formal restaurant and were seated near the window.

"So tell me, what happened with you and Roger then? How was it?" Freddie asked me, I looked at him confused.

"What do you mean Fred?"

"When he chased after you a while back, he said he didn't shag you but, he didn't sound the most convincing, and he was in a rush to go, again not very Roger like. What was he like?" At this point I was melting internally at Freddie's words. Why did he care what Roger was like?

"We...didn't shag..." I said slowly, probably not sounding the most convincing to anyone.

"Yes, definitely not." Freddie laughed "You know I wouldn't be mad with you...I just dint want to see you heartbroken.."

"I'm not going to talk about this Freddie." I said coldly, with a serious tone.

"Whatever you say Edith." Freddie said rolling his eyes at me.

The rest of the night was slightly awkward between me and Freddie, as it would be if you suspect two of your best friends are shagging and they won't admit it.

"Thank you for a lovely night Freddie." I said to him, though I felt that it wasn't entirely true.

"Your welcome" he replied softly, before exiting the restaurant and leaving.

As I left I exited the door, and my heart stopped for a second. Stood outside the door, leaning against the wall, smoking, was fucking Roger Taylor.

"H-hey..." I said slowly, approaching him. Fair to say I was scared. I haven't seen this man in like 4 months, and the last time I saw him...we were...shagging...

"Hey you, haven't seen you in a while. Thought a meet in person would mean more than a phone call." What the fuck. I mean, he wasn't wrong, seeing him in person, did mean more than a phone call. But it was also very awkward. I stood in silence for a minute, unsure what to say. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, clearly noticing that something was wrong.

"H-hey. Yeah I-I'm okay...what are you doing here?" I stated shook. Probably not the best thing to be saying right now.

"Ouch" he said taking a breath of his cigarette before putting it out. "I mean, I know we haven't talked in ages, and the last time we did we were...anyway, but that still hurt. I can leave if you want me to..?"

"NO! I mean...no, sorry, just...shocked. How did you know I was here?" I asked, cautious...stalker?

"Freddie may have said in the studio today that he was going out for dinner with a friend and he had booked it. Seeing as you're his best friend and this is literally the only place he knows..I figured you would be here. I think he forgot he introduced us."

"Well he asked me about that night, no I don't think he has. He can't seem to escape that thought, claiming he doesn't want to see his best friend, heartbroken." From the tone in my voice, you could tell I was pissed off at Freddie, even rolled his eyes. "Anyway...moving on, how's work? Freddie says you're busy, like all the time?"

"Yeah" he said letting out a deep breath "busy but...worth it at the end right?"

"Coming from Queen..absolutely." I said with a slight chuckle.  Roger laughed slightly to. My love for Queen clearly showing through in that sweet moment between me and the drummer.

"What are you doing tonight?" he asked. In all honesty, my plan was to go home and go to bed, but when someone like Roger Taylor asks you, you can't exactly say that, or can you?

"Nothing, I have a pretty boring life to be honest Roger." I re framed from calling him Mr. Taylor in that moment, because to be honest, I didn't know if I wanted it to go to that level tonight, and get even more beef from Freddie tomorrow.

"I'll call you tomorrow." he said to me, before pulling me in for a tight hug and saying goodnight.

Once I got back to my flat, I did just what I had intended to do, kick my shoes off, and go straight to bed. Though I felt as if I was missing something, something next to me, or someone? NO. I can't be thinking that just because I saw him today! It has been months and I can't afford to think like that, neither can he.

The next morning I was awoken by the phone ringing next to my bedside. "Ugh..go away!" I groaned turning over ignoring the phone "It's..." I looked at the clock "10 am..okay fair enough." I said annoyed picking up the phone and putting it to my ear. "Hello" I grumbled onto the phone.

"Hello, somebody is in a good mood this morning" it was Roger, I immediately felt bad for my use of tone.

"Roger! Hey sorry...slow morning" he laughed a little.

"Understandable, why not? Hey I was calling to see if you wanted to come down to the studio today, we could use some moral support." he asked.

"Yes, yes of course I will"

"Great see you there, 11 am." and with that, he hung up.

No way was my life real. Had Roger Taylor just invited me down to the SAME STUDIO THAT QUEEN RECORDS IN!!!! I had only an hour to get ready, and get down to the studio. I rushed out of bed, chucked on some nice clothes, and headed down to the studio, where waiting for me, was Queen.
