Prologue: His Awakening

Jasper was out hunting in the forest when he smelled the most delicious scent. Like raspberries and chocolate mixed into one. Instead of following his hunt he decided to follow this mouthwatering aroma. After about a quarter mile he came across a young women leaning down into the fresh stream of mountain water. When she heard the twig snap she turned to face him and in that instance he knew she was his Mate!

11 months later...

Jasper!!!! Came the screams of my mate Elaine. She was giving birth to our first child and i could hear the desperation in her voice. After hours of sweat and tears we heard the sound we had been waiting to hear. The screaming of our newborn pup. Once she was clean and wrapped up she was handed back to us we knew we were wrapped around her little finger. She was the most beautiful thing we had ever seen. We named her Adaline Marie Matthew's. Alphas daughter of the Blue Ridge Pack. As I stared into her striking electric blue eyes I knew one day that we would have to tell her about our union and her true nature. She would be one of the most powerful beings alive and we would have to protect her at all costs.

14 years later...

My names Adaline and I'm an alphas daughter. I won't hang on the politics of it but let's just say I'm a big deal. I'm the only daughter of Jasper and Elaine Matthew's Alpha and Luna of the Blue Ridge Pack. I'm the oldest of 5. My brother's get annoying but they are still pups. I'm 14 years of age and I'm a werewolf. Yeah yeah so cool except I'm not just a werewolf I'm a witch as well. Well in our world we call me a Hybrid. A mix between races and according to legend one of the most powerful creatures created when 2 people of seperate species mix. You see my parents met 15 years ago while my dad was on a run. He stumbled across my mom and well you get the rest. At the time they didn't care that mom was a witch and he was a werewolf. All that mattered to them was the pull the goddess created between them and so against elder wishes they formed a union and became one. And that brings us back to now. My birthday was last week and when the moon rose that night I knew something was wrong. My blood boiled and my bones began breaking. They call it an early turn. And it sucked. Most wolves my age won't see their wolves till 16 but since I'm special I turned early. That's how I found out I had my mother's talents as well as my father's. We thought since I hadn't shown any signs of magic until after I turned that maybe her genes hadn't of passed on to me but we were so wrong. My turning was painful and quick thank goodness but when I was able to turn back to my skin I was blinded by electric currents running through me and the wind blowing throughout our home. Not only had my beautiful blue tinted white wolf been set free but so had my powers. Mom and Dad were so proud and scared at once. Proud that I had come into myself but scared for what the world would do when it was found out what I could do and what I was. I'm not sure where these new found powers will take me but that was my beginning and now here comes my journey.

Author Note: Hi! I'm super new to this. I plan on trying to get a chapter done a week if not a few chapters a week. At this point I'm not sure how many chapters the book will have but I'll make as many as I need to to make sure everything gets answered! If have any questions just leave comments please!
