Saving six part 3) Almost there fri𝚎݊ꪀժׁׅ݊...

The moment I opened my eyes from the meaningless dreams I, feared. To once again see the dark and eerie surroundings made my blood run cold.

The air was again musty and thick, making my lungs stagger from the lack of oxygen. My mind fuzzy as I tried to sit up. Only to realize that I'm being held by something.

At first I was scared, thinking one of those 'bullies' had taken me hostage...in my vulnerable state. But, I simply remembered that I had fallen asleep next to my baggy companion.

Letting out a small sigh I began to wake up said companion. Who, clearly wasn't going to wake up anytime soon.

"Mono... Mono", I whispered.

He didn't move, only movement was his chest rising and falling with every breath he took. Feeling frustrated, I decided it was a good idea to shake him awake.

" Mono! ", I spoke loudly. Begging him to awake.

After a few seconds of violent shaking, my baggy companion finally woke up. Shaking his head while, pushing me off him. Certainly he wanted the world to stop shaking so early.

Though, he paused and apologized for not getting up earlier. Aside from that, we both knew there was no time for lolly gagging around. We needed to save six, whether we like it or not. She is still our friend, and we must not abandon one another.

So, Mono and I continued our search around this abandoned school. Walking around spotting nothing out of the ordinary when, we came across a disgusting and heart breaking room.

There, in the middle of the room was a life sized chess board. But, the dark king piece had one bullies body tied on it. Though the gruesome part, was that the mouth was sewn onto the top of the chess piece... Human centipede style.

I felt my stomach turn as I covered my mouth, in fear that I might vomit everywhere. The smell of a rotting corpse hit my nose, making my stomach even worse.

"I think I'm going to vomit", I admitted out loud.

"Me too", mono replied. Though, he still went straight for the corpse...only Heaven knows why. I, on the other hand, went over to search along the chalk drawings on the wall.

" Mono! Come look at this. It's, like some type of puzzle! ", I spoke while pointing at the wall.

Mono, ran towards me with excitement. Being around him for so long, I found that even the word puzzle excites him.

" Awesome! ", he chuckled.

"Hmm... It seems we have to put the king in a check mate.... But, the pieces are missing their heads?... No pun intended", I joked

" Found the queen", he said pointing to a table by the window.

"Great! You get that one and I think we past a Brook piece at the door! ", I said excitedly before running off to grab the piece.

It was not light...the piece was very heavy. So, I literally had to drag it slowly before I threw it on top of its supposed place.

" there! Now all we have to due is find the white king- mono? ", I questioned while seeing a smug smirk on his lips. The bag crunching up from his hands pulling up the bag.

" Already beat ya to it princess ", he joked.

I just rolled my eyes at him while watching with interest, as he  did some parkour to pull off the lamp/switch. Which it opened the wall in front of us, showing a chair with a key... And a very weird drawing of a dog peeing?.

" weird", I said as mono just nodded before grabbing the key. Quickly we both ran down stairs to the locked door.

Mono put the key in, twisting it and we both watched as the lock fell. Finally letting us carry on with our main mission.
