Flowers and dragons || Hualian (dropped)

Confession?

Xie Lian wore a loose tank top with long baggy jeans, it didn't really suit his gentle temperament.

Hua Cheng sneakily eyeballs him while Xie Lian was flustered about the bruise on his face.

Xie Lian leans forward and kneels on the chair, Hua Cheng eyes then looked down to the marvellous view.

Xie Lian's tank top was very loose, revealing his upper body from the top view. Hua Cheng heart started to beat even faster.

He peeks through the gap and took a screenshot of the view.

He could see Xie Lian's well-built chest and abdomen. Xie Lian had beautiful abs and an obvious mermaid line down his hips.

Hua Cheng gulped down his saliva. Upon seeing this, Hua Cheng then realised that Xie Lian was actually pretty buffed.

He could clearly see his biceps muscles along with his abs and chest. Unlike his feminine face, his body was very well-trained.

Hua Cheng thought to himself  Is this some sort of gap moe?!

Hua Cheng had a hard time looking away as if his eyes were glued there.

Xie Lian finished bandaging his face and moves away to keep the first-aid.

Hua Cheng felt slightly regretful that he couldn't see the image anymore and sighed.

"Thank you gege." Hua Cheng gleefully said, he gave a bright smile, showing his teeth.

Xie Lian blushed slightly, "No problem Hua Cheng." And scurried away.

Hua Cheng whistles as he touches the bandage on his face, he could still feel the warmth of Xie Lian's fingers on his face. Hua Cheng smiles at the way things are progressing.

After this encounter, Hua Cheng and Xie Lian grew especially close together.

Hua Cheng would visit Xie Lian daily after work so as to eat dinner with him. Xie Lian was more than happy to do so.

They talked, hung out, got to know each other even more.

Occasionally, Xie Lian would visit Hua Cheng's store. He would stroll around, appreciating the flowers.

Hua Cheng loved the sight of the flowers and Xie Lian together, they formed the perfect picture.

Hua Cheng savoured every moment with Xie Lian but as time flew by, Hua Cheng got hungrier.

Months passed by, it was now winter. Xie Lian and Hua Cheng have known each other for almost a year now, their bond unbreakable.

Just like usual, Hua Cheng and Xie Lian was out for dinner after work. Just that, the atmosphere was a little....

Stiff? Nono, awkward? Hmmm, flirty?

Well it wasn't really the usual friendly atmosphere and this is due to last week.

Hua Cheng decided on a bold move that day.

He felt that it was time.

Time to confess his feelings!!

He desperately prepared the night before, he practiced in a mirror repeatedly. He tried different ways of confession. He even went online to search on how to confess.

But he settled for one, the classic. Under the winter snow, he shall confess.

That day, they were out for dinner where Hua Cheng suggested going to the mall square where there were many decorations for Christmas.

Xie Lian agreed, he was looking forward to walking around.

They finished dinner quickly and made their way there.

They strolled around, looking into shops through the window. Getting street snacks while walking.

It felt like a date. (To Hua Cheng)

It was the perfect atmosphere and place to confess.

Hua Cheng prepared himself mentally, repeatedly replaying what he'll say.

As soon as he was ready, he brings Xie Lian to the large Christmas tree.

They stood opposite each other, the snow was falling, creating a dreamy scenario.

It was extremely cold that day, they were both bundled up in jackets and layers of clothing. Their noses slight red, their eyes slightly puffy.

Hua Cheng took a deep breath and looked into the eyes of Xie Lian.

Xie Lian at that time was oblivious and clueless and simply looked back.

Hua Cheng heart sped up, he kept opening his mouth and closing it again.

"What is it, Hua Cheng?"

"Well.."

Hua Cheng holds Xie Lian's hands and finally spoke.

"I'm in love with you Xie Lian. Ever since I saw you that day, I fell for you. As we got closer, it made me fall even more in love with you. I want to spend more time with you, not as friends but as lovers. I love you, Xie Lian!"

Hua Cheng finally took in a breath after speaking.

Xie Lian eyes widened, his jaw dropping. He didn't know how to react.

Xie Lian's face was then burning up, his entire face was turning red. He covered his face with his hands and crouched down.

Seeing his reaction, Hua Cheng also didn't know what to do, he also crouched down in front of Xie Lian.

Xie Lian removed his hands and was shocked to see Hua Cheng in front of him, he fell backwards on his butt.

"I-I-I-I- UHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Xie Lian was malfunctioning, he couldn't speak properly.

Hua Cheng cups Xie Lian's face, his face directly in front of him. He could feel his hot breath on his skin.

Hua Cheng then shortens the distance between their faces.

Perhaps it's good to let your intrusive thoughts win for once...
