A big step forward (announcement)

Xie Lian felt his face burning despite the freezing temperature. Xie Lian instinctively covers his face. He wanted to run away immediately.

His heart, his mind, his body couldn't comprehend the current situation.

He wanted to run but he fell, just as he looked up after burrowing his face into his palms. Hua Cheng's face was right in front of him, taking up his view.

Xie Lian's breathing stopped, he could only stare at Hua Cheng's handsome face. His eyes twitching from opening too big.

Xie Lian could feel his hot breath on his skin, it was slightly ticklish.

Suddenly, a warm sensation spread throughout his lips.

Xie Lian held his breath.

Hua Cheng kissed him.

Xie Lian wanted to struggle but his body did not comply, his body was bewitched by Hua Cheng along with his entire heart and soul.

Xie Lian had suspected that Hua Cheng held feelings for him but he had a naive heart. He never really thought about it.

However, after this exchange, Xie Lian finally knew, he finally realised.

His heartbeat quickened, his breathing short. His eyes shone upon the realisation.

He likes Hua Cheng.

No, no. He loves him.

His entire soul and heart yearns for Hua Cheng, he just kept denying it, he just didn't realise that.

The warmth slowly faded away as Hua Cheng retracted his lips.

Xie Lian face was as red as a tomato, in contrast to the white snow, he looked extremely red like a rose.

He hid his mouth under his scarf, he sat there motionlessly.

Xie Lian didn't know what to say.

Hua Cheng POV

He did it! He kissed Xie Lian!

Despite his calm demeanour, his mind was in a frenzy. He was about to short-circuit.

His mind was filled with simply just:

Slowly, red started to seep through Hua Cheng's cheeks as well.

Both of them stared at each other, time seemed to have stopped around them.

Hua Cheng simply waited for Xie Lian, for his answer.

His hands were trembling a little not from the cold but from fear.

Hua Cheng was scared, he was afraid of being rejected and hated by Xie Lian. He wouldn't be able to live like that.

Hua Cheng slightly regretted, he didn't want to hear the answer, he didn't want to know.

He saw Xie Lian open his mouth, he wanted to cover it, prevent Xie Lian from speaking. He wanted to simply block his ears because of this fear.

His eyes trembled as he watched Xie Lian's movement even the slightest twitch, he observed.

"I- I also love Hua Cheng"

Hua Cheng eyes widened, he couldn't believe his ears. He wanted to record this down and replay it every single day.

Hua Cheng cups his hands on Xie Lian cheek.

Xie Lian seemed to understand as he closes his eyes and purses his lips.

The same warmth spread through their lips.

Hua Cheng felt that he couldn't control it anymore, his hunger was festering, he wanted more just a bit more.

He slowly slips his tongue into Xie Lian's mouth causing Xie Lian to jerk a little from shock.

His tongue roamed around Xie Lian's mouth, exploring every corner of his mouth.

Their tongues tangled together, their saliva mixed.

Xie Lian couldn't breath properly and had to break off the kiss.

Xie Lian gasped as he caught his breath.

Hua Cheng then realised what he was doing and started to profusely apologise.

"I'm sorry, gege! I won't do that again!"

Xie Lian seemed to saddened a little from hearing that.

"Uhm, so gege. We're lovers now?"

Xie Lian nodded, his ears blushing from the word "lovers".

Hua Cheng was so excited, every hair on his body was up. He felt his heart pumping and the adrenaline rushing through his veins.

He wanted to just kiss Xie Lian again and bring him home but he restrained himself.

"Then.. Gege, it'll be better if you start to call me SanLang. I prefer that." Hua Cheng added, his face beaming. When was the last time he was this happy.

Xie Lian ears twitched a little upon hearing that, like a bunny's. He positions his face towards Hua Cheng.

"Mhm, Sanlang.." Xie Lian felt extremely embarrassed but happy inside.

Hua Cheng never thought he would hear Xie Lian's voice calling out to him so affectionately.

Hua Cheng pounces on Xie Lian and squeezes his on the snow. Hua Cheng started to laugh heartily from the joy.

Xie Lian squeezes Hua Cheng back and laughs along.

After rolling around the snow, they held hands under the coat and walked back home.

They shared a kiss again before parting reluctantly.

As they walked away, Xie Lian called out, "Sanlang, I'll say it again. I..love you. Have a goodnight sleep, see you tomorrow." Xie Lian rapped through his dialogue.

Hua Cheng's heart almost jumped out of his body. XIE LIAN IS JUST TOO ADORABLE.

He watched as Xie Lian ran away, his back slowly disappearing into the snowfall.

Hua Cheng looks up, the stars glittering, it reminded him of Xie Lian's eyes.. He stuffs his hands into the pocket, he felt his hands feel empty without Xie Lian.

Hua Cheng strolls his way back home under the first snow...

They were now lovers.
