Yeah this is just a dumb dumb little petite book on some of the creatures in this RAD (insert 4 second explosion scene) game called DOORS on Roblox!
I'll draw a cover soon, and planning to make the reader Gender Neutral or just make these like one...
"Wow, this hotel seems pretty empty huh?" You thought to yourself. As you walked around and avoiding the creatures that kept roaming this place, you continued onward for no reason other than curiosity. Curiosity killed the cat. Entering a few more rooms, and you see the lights flicker, you run to the nearest closet. But as you open it... a face screams at you from inside of it
You panic as it reaches out, and grabs your wrist tightly and pulls you into the closet. You feel an arm wrap around your shoulder and a hand on your mouth. You feel something breathing down your neck, and it whispers "shh... This one isn't like the ones that run past before.." you try to calm your breathing, and see a new creature like one you haven't seen before. It was tall, red and stomped loudly though out the hall Infront of you.
You can remember that this one isn't meant to be here, so you ask yourself why it's here. But while it's nearing the end of the room, you hear some weird static and a corrupted radio signal, and the beast seemingly disappears. The hand on your mouth starts to weaken it's grip on you and you take no time to jump out and look behind you. You see a tall person, in a monochromatic kind of color scheme, almost like an old image. "Sorry if I scared you, it's just something like that never happens before..."
As you stare at the creature inside the closet in confusion, it reaches its hand out and says "The names Jack, nice to meet you uhh...?" "...Y/N. My name is Y/N." You reach out to Jacks hand and shake it, he has a firm grip onto your hand as she shakes it. You almost could feel that if he put more strength into that shake, he would probably pull your arm out of your shoulder!
As he places one foot on the ground, you see that he's wearing a type of old 1900s style vest and pants, while having a name tag on his chest and a few scratches on his sleeves. "Y-You see uh.. I can't fully leave this closet, I've been completely bound to these dark spaces! Hehe." You let's out a playful chuckle, while you laugh with him. You ask why he was stuck here, and he says "Because of the same odd monstrosity that made you want to go here." He replies with.
"This hotel used to be filled to the brim with people! Staff and guests always interacting with one another, it was a peaceful space.. until one day, I awoke from my sleep to screams of panic and fear, seeing as the hotel seemingly expanded from a 50 room hotel, to almost an endless hallway! But unfortunately that is all I can remember, being in the darkness for long amounts of time seems to make you forget your past huh? Haha!" He grows a big smile and laughs while you are Infront of him listening to his stories.
"Sorry that Ive been talking your ear off, I usually don't get to talk to anyone for even longer than 2 minutes! I just find it fun to scare people away." He says in an upset tone. "Well... That's perfectly fine with me!" You reply to him, listening to this makes him smile even more. "Thanks for that friend, but I do believe you must go, I'd rather you don't become another victim for this place". Him saying this caught you so off guard you couldn't even think of anything to say! "Welp, I'm off Y/N! Keep ya self safe ya got that?" He says as he pulls his leg into the closet and shuts the doors quickly. "w-Wait!-" you say opening the doors of the closet, but to your surprise, he isn't there anymore. It's just a dark space again.
This lets you down, but you see a poster on the floor. You open it to see a cat hanging on a branch, with the words "Hang in there!" at the top of the image. Seems like he knows about the internet, but it's probably the really loud and annoying boot up one.
You continued going through rooms, always hoping you would see your spooky monochrome friend again, but you had no luck.
But this stopped when you reached door 98, and see Jack in it congratulating you and cheering you on in the closet across the room.
