Chains

They tie you down, they hold you back.

You can yank, but you can never break free.

It will tighten, you will sing,

Filled with tears, there will be nothing but fears.

If you loosen, you will be free.
Free from all the suffering and the misery it brings.

Now you're alone, your opportunity has blown.

But there's fish in the sea, plenty of chances it will bring.

Everyone has chains.

But to hook it to someone else, that is nothing but progress.

Trust and compassion, you can never unfasten.

Love and romance, there is only one chance.

So when someone hooks their chain onto you, be grateful for who they are

You're their star, it may seem bizarre.

But it is real, the love is ideal.
