It had been a little over a week and Billy's face was healing nicely. Only hints of the bruises and cuts on his face and stomach were left. Steve was glad that they were fading, Billy was getting some of his flirty confidence back.
Max had gone back home, but Billy stayed at Steve's. She told Billy that Neil was mad that he hadn't come home, but she said he hadn't hit her in his place. Susan would never let it happen, but it still made Billy nervous. If he really wanted to hurt either of them, there wasn't anything that Susan could do about it. He was too mean, too evil. Billy was just glad that Neil wasn't stupid enough to hurt Max.
Steve was washing dishes from their dinner of lasagna, when two strong arms wrapped around his waist. He jumped slightly at the sudden contact, but relaxed into the embrace almost immediately. He leaned his head back on Billy's shoulder and dried his hands on his dish towel.
"What are you doing Billy?" Steve asked with a small smile on his lips. He rolled his head to the side to look at his lover. His cheeks a bit scruffy, but Steve kinda liked it.
"Anything you'd let me." He whispered hoarsly, and a thrilling tingle ran through Steve's body.
He turned in Billy's arms and put his own around Billy's neck. Billy smirked at Steve, leaning foreword to capture his lips. They were soft, and Steve gave into the kiss instantly.
Billy lifted Steve up onto the counter, and pressed himself between his legs. Steve moaned into the kiss, fisting the shirt that covered Billy's chest. Steve tugged at it, and Billy pulled it over his head so fast Steve's head spun. The shirt was discarded mindlessly on the floor as the two men revealed in each other's touch.
Steve's fingers touched Billy's bare skin, ghosting over the scarred flesh of his belly. Billy shivered at the light touch. His hands found Steve's hips, his grip on the flesh there was rough, just as Steve liked it.
Billy found Steve's lips again and kissed him heavily, stealing Steve's breath from his lungs. Those fucking lips. He could loose himself in the feeling of them, and had many times. He cupped Billy's scruffy cheeks and kissed him back just as hard.
Hands, lips, tongues, it was all so good. Steve moaned into his lovers mouth, too into the moment to even have noticed, but Billy heard it. Loud and clear. It was a sound that never failed to fucking turn him on.
He pulled Steve off the counter and over his shoulder like he'd weighed nothing. Steve yelped in surprise as he fought against Billy's grip. (Not really.) Billy swatted Steve's ass and chuckled at the sharp inhale from the brown eyed boy.
"Hm I gotcha baby, not gonna drop you." Billy made it to the stairs within a blink of an eye, and began climbing them effortlessly.
"Billy I could've walked." Steve whined as Billy opened Steve's bedroom door.
"Yeah but I like to carry my prize to bed."
He laid Steve on the bed they'd been sharing, his brown hair laying messy around his head. His lips were pink and swollen, matching his cheeks in color. Billy looked at the sight before him and couldn't understand how he'd ever gotten so lucky.
They took no time in removing their clothes, and returning their hands to explore every inch of exposed skin they'd become quite familiar with as of late. Both boys reveling in the others touch, burning hot on their flushed skin. It was pure bliss, and they never felt this with another soul.
Billy climbed on top of Steve, looking down at him like he was seeing this beautiful sight for the first time. Steve was everything to Billy. He was absolutely, positively fucked up over this brown eyed boy. No strings attached had flown out the window, they were so mad for one another. Both boys couldn't fathom life without the other. There was no going back.
"I fucking love you Harrington." Billy confessed. Looking at the boy beneath him with what looked like fear underlying his features.
Steve's eyes widened. He'd never thought he'd hear Billy Hargrove say those words to anyone, let alone him. He was in total shock.
The longer the silence hung between them the more nervous and scared Billy became. He'd just said the hardest thing he ever had. Being venerable and open wasn't Billy's strong suit, and he needed Steve to reassure him.
"I love you Billy. More than anything." Steve spoke softly, scared if he said it louder he'd wake up from a blissful dream.
The faintest ghosting of a smile pulled at Billy's lips, reminding Steve of an innocent child. He couldn't understand how one man could do both so well. So sexy and confident to innocent and shy. He was perfect.
Steve tangled his hands in Billy's hair, and pulled him down to kiss him feverishly. Their kiss sloppy and unkempt, but it was passionate. Steve hummed pleasantly against Billy's lips.
Billy was the first to part them, but only to trail kisses down Steve's chest, sucking marks into his skin as he went. Steve hands still in his hair, now a moaning mess beneath his lover.
Steve thought for a moment, coming to a realization that this was indeed the first time he'd actually be making love. Yes he loved Nancy but he was never in love with her. She was more of a prize to him in high-school. The fact that he had the princess Nancy Wheeler on his arm got him a few claps on his back in the locker room, but made it ten times worse when she'd ended up with Johnathan.
He'd still remembered Billy's words in the shower that day. "Plenty of bitches in the sea." At the time he was upset that he'd called Nancy a bitch, but he hadn't gotten over her yet. He was holding on to a semblance of hope that they'd get back together.
Hindsight is definitely 20/20. Now he'd never look at Nancy as anything but a friend. Couldn't imagine her hands on him. Not in the way Billy touched him. She could never be rough enough for him now.
"Baby, you here with me?" Billy's stubbled chin brushing his hip brining him back to the reality of the present situation.
"Yeah, uh Yeah. I'm sorry." Steve stammered, his blushing cheeks smouldering in the orangish glow of the bedside lamp.
"It's okay baby doll." The new name made Steve's chest flutter. "Just let me know if it's too much." Steve almost laughed at that. Too much? Billy's touch wasn't nearly enough. He was addicted, and it could never be enough.
Billy came back up and kissed Steve's neck. The brunette shuddered at his fingertips brushing at his sides. He was irrevocably Billy's. Honestly no matter what happened he always would be. He couldn't have anyone but Billy ever again. They could never compare.
