The Queen of Nobody (Rewriting)

CHAPTER SEVEN

Coming home from work I felt strong even after the hectic day at work.

Although I ignore my powers, although I never want to use my powers, they are still inside of me- and that's one of the things I am made up of.

On the side of the road as I trek back home, I see a little stream, as I pass by, the rivers still in respect the little fishes jumped in and out of the water in jubilee.

They have seen their queen.

I ignore it, I ignore the water that is calling to me so loudly, I ignore them all.

I walked into the small room I now live in that was actually abandoned- that was before I found it, and before Mary came and made it look more lively.

I entered my apartment and Mary comes into view looking so suspicious, I can sense her joy, doubt, fear, and plead.

"What is wrong Mary" I asked and she smiled in a very creepy way. "Nothing is wrong" she said, "But something is about to go right. I signed you up", she said happily and fearfully, "signed me up for what" I asked, "For The Choosing" she said guilty, "what are you talking about, what is The Choosing".

"It is the prince 20th Birthday", and today he picks twenty girls out of all the girls in the kingdom, and he would choose one to become his wife, and after their marriage the prince becomes the king and the chosen girl will become his queen- our queen", she said quickly. "And what those that have to do with me" I asked her, already knowing the answer.

'How dare her' I taught, try to force a competition on the queen of the sea, force a marriage on a person that tried to help her, force a wedding on a person she does not even know.

"How dare you Mary, how dare you make a choice for me, how dare you sign me up for this", I walked to her and held her hands and then I felt something, it was just a little vibration but I knew it was there and I knew that Mary was not human.

From the first time I met her I felt some strange but good vibes around her but I let it go, but now that I wanted to harm her I felt it stronger.

"Please, sit down" Mary said, "How dare you tell me what to do after this stupid stunt you played" I say half-heartedly as there was something else I needed to know.

Next thing Mary knelt down in front of me and she said, "I'm sorry my queen", and that was enough to put an emotion on my cold emotionless face. "Before you ask me any questions, I have some important things to tell you your highness, and I pray you to just sit and listen then you can ask your question later. Please...." she said, she looked sincere and I knew what she had to tell me was very important and I could see the pleading in her eyes, and I decided to let her speak.
