Alec and I are going on a date today, we realised we need to date to try to make the marriage work. I pull on a black dress with red polka dots. I pull on white Nike Air Forces. I curl my hair and do light make up. I smile and look in the mirror. Sadie is good, maybe a bit upset about everything but I haven't contacted my parents yet either.

I go out to the bedroom and Alec is in a dress shirt and jeans. I smile. "Hey" I said. "Hey, you look stunning" said Alec. "So do you" I said, smiling. He smiles back and we go downstairs. Sadie and Ryan are chatting in the sitting room. I smirk and turn away. We go make cereal. "What's up?" Asked Alec. "Ryan and Sadie seem to be getting along quite good" I said. "They do, best friends or more?" Asked Alec. I shrug. "I don't know but whatever they decide to do will be their choice" I said. Alec agrees and Nathan walks in. "Right, if Ryan and Sadie get together, you two are married, so I'll be the only single New Rules man" said Nathan, flopping onto a chair.

"Aww, go out and find a woman then" said Alec. "Piss off. It's harder then it seems" said Nathan, placing his head on the table. "Aww poor Nate" I said, smiling. "Yes poor Nate" said Nathan, groaning. I look at Alec and he looks back. "Let's go" said Alec. "See ya all later" we call out and leave. We get in Alec's car.

"Well, Nathan's dramatic" I said. "Isn't he always dramatic" said Alec. I laugh and look at Alec. His hair is falling into his eyes a bit, his smiling and his eyes are light and alive. His basically a model. "See something you like?" Teased Alec. "Yeah, the window" I teased back. Alec laughs and looks at me. "Thanks, babe" said Alec. I blush. "Babe?" I ask. "Sorry it came out" said Alec. "No, I like it" I said, smiling. "Really?" Asked Alec. "Yeah, it sounds good coming from you not my ex." I said, smiling slightly. "Well, I guess I have to call you babe from now on" said Alec. I nod, smiling.

Once we arrive at the cinema we get the tickets, popcorns and coke. We go into the room and find our seats. We sit down and wait for Bullettrain to begin. Once it's over, we go for food in Burger King. We relax and chat about everything, "Cassie?" Asked Jack, my ex. "Hi, Jack" I said. "Hi, who's this?" Asked Jack. "My husband, Alec McGarry" I said, placing my hand on Alec's hand. "Oh" said Jack. I nod and he leaves, I roll my eyes. "His a dick" I said, sighing. "I could kinda tell" said Alec. I laugh and we go home.

Sadie and Ryan are on the sofa, watching movies. Nathan's there too but his asleep. I smirk. "Nate's asleep and those two are watching movies" said Alec.I laugh and we go out the back. We sit on the chairs and look around. I hear my phone.

From Dad
Cassie, is Sadie there?

To Dad
Yeah, she's ok. Just sad

From dad
I regret what we have done. Can we come over tomorrow and try to make things right?

To dad
Ok, yeah. Sadie needs that and so do you and mum.

From dad
Thank you pumpkin

I sigh and show Alec. "Hey, they all need this" said Alec. I nod and lean my head on his shoulder. The rest of the day, we make dinner and everyone enjoys it. "Sadie, mum and dad are coming over to say sorry to you" I said. "Oh, ok" said Sadie. We watch friends till midnight when we all go to bed. I lie down and this is the first night where we actively cuddle before sleeping.
