Love, Hate and Speed (Max Verstappen)

Part 13: it's always been him

"My love please talk to me." Max said walking into his sheared hotel room.

"What do you want Max, I have work to do?" Angel said not looking up from her laptop.

"I'm sorry for what I said." He started moving some of her papers so that he could sit on the bed. "I know you are stressed about work and the baby and how you going to run two-multibillion-dollar companies with a baby. All I want to do is help you and its frustration not being able to do that. I love you more than anything, you are my world all I want to do is help not cause you more stress."

"Babe all I need is you by my side. To hold me and love me. I will find a way to be your girlfriend, a good mother, run my business and be in the RedBull garage every weekend. I just need time and you. That's all." Angel said moving her laptop.

"Then that's what I will do. I will stand by your side and never leave."

"Good because we need you, all three of us." Angel said peeking his lips than pulling away laughing at the look on Max's face.

"Three... it is... are we... are we having twins?" Max asked with tears falling.

"Yaa," Angel said smiling.

"OMG," Max pulled her into his arms. "We having twins." He laughed out kissing Ang again.

Later that day Max and Angel flew to Brazil for the next GP. They spent the week doing interviews and in meetings. Well speeding as much time together as possible.

Saturday came, it was qualifying. Angel just left FiA boardroom and was walk to catering when Lewis walked up to her.

"Hey Angel, can we talk?" He asked the Greek woman.

"Yes of course, just not to long I have team meeting in an hour." She answered smiling.

"Okay, uhm. I know we ended things and you've moved on with Max and all, but I really miss you and I can't move on. I know I messed up, but I regret it every day. I still love you." Lewis said.

"Oh Lewis..." Angel whispered out. She felt bad.

"I know you are happy and whatever but is there a chance for us."

"Lewis I can't." Angel whispered.

"Why? You and Max were fighting yesterday because of work and your stress. But I understand, I was there when you bought RedBull, I was there when you started your racing school, I was there when you had your first and last races, I was there. I was always there for you."

"But you walked out on this relationship long before I did. Yes you were there for all my accomplishments but Max was always there when I need someone to help, to hold me as I cried, to pick me up after I feal... he was there when I was in hospital, he called every day to check on me well I was in rehab for my knee. HE WAS THERE WHEN I NEEDED HIM, well you were of with so girl doing god knows what." Angel said as she started tearing up but blinked it away.

"I know, I know but I will never stop fighting for you. I love you and I know I made a mistake. I will do whatever it takes to get you back." Lewis pleaded.

"Well stop fighting. I will never come back to you. I am pregnant with Max's child. We are moving in together and I might have a lot going on bet there's two things I know for sure. I love you, but I will always love him more." Angel said walking away leaving Lewis.

Max who had heard the hole conversation was smiling from ear to ear. He knew Angel loved him but this just proved that she loved him as much as he loved her. He knew he would never do what Lewis did to her.
