Part 21: champion of the world

IT'S LIGHTS OUT AND AWAY WE GO!!

Lewis took the lead in the race, but the race turned with five laps to go. Nicholas crashed out on turn 14.

When the Safety Car allowed Max to dive into the pits changing for soft tires before the lead pair duked it out on the last lap. Max overtook in turn five. Max took the lead.

The celebration was cut short when Mercedes protested the result of the race.

FiA declared that Max won, and the party started.

Max was congratulated by his family and team. When Angel walk out the FiA building Max was in his first interview which he excused himself from and ran up to his girlfriend.

He let some tears fall as he held her. "I'm so proud of you Max." She said in a broken voice. She had just spent almost a two-hour fighting for Max's position, then Toto started yelling at her and she fought back.

"Go do your interview I'll be in your drivers' room." She said. Max kissed her lips before going back to his interview.

Later, Max walked into his drivers' room to see Angel asleep on the coach. Max placed his jacket over her before getting in the shower.

Max walked out packed his bag. "Angel my love you need to get up." He whispered softly rubbing his hand over her arm.

"Uhm." Angel slowly woke up. "Hey." She said smiling when she saw Max kneeling in front of her.

"Hey. Come on let's go get food and get you in bed." Max said standing up and extending his hand.

Angel took his hand and picked up her handbag.

The two walked out the drivers' room down the paddock to there car. Fans were shouting and cheering as they walk past.

Max opened Angel's door for her stilling a kiss before she got in.

Max drove them back to the hotel where they were meeting all their friends and family for late dinner. "Hey guys." Angel greeted smiling.

"Hey you look exited." Angel's mother commented.

"Yaa well I just spent an hour in a meeting with FiA and Mercedes. Then had an hour-long screaming match with Toto because he has is unhappy with the fact that max won instead of Lewis. Then said it's my fold that Lewis lost because I break up with Lewis and gave him unnecessary stress. So, I yelled out that Lewis was cheating on me will sky news journalists walked in the room. After that I just left found Max then slept for an hour and now, we are here. So, how was your guys' evening." Angel said with a smile as she sat down.
