Another few days pass by and nothing much changed. Ever was still surprisingly nice, and I went to visit Fox when I was bored. We talked and laughed a lot. Having another kind human near me was good for my mental health. I also couldn't stop thinking about how good it was with Ever and if I'm ever going to experience that kind of sex again.
"Y/n, do you mind helping me prepare for dinner tonight?" Marina knocks on the door and I'm pulled out of my thoughts.
"Yes, gladly." I flash her a smile and get up to go help.
"We need to cook a bit more. Boss will have some visitors today." She explains.
"Really? Who's coming?" I'm curious.
"He didn't tell me that much. Just to make a bit more food for dinner." She shrugs.
"Oh, ok." I don't ask any more questions and get to work.
There weren't any other people in the apartment since I got here other than Ever, Marina, Fox, and some guards and doctors that came by occasionally. I must admit it does make me a bit nervous to know someone is coming and I don't even know who, will they know me? Most of the day passes by, and we had fun with Marina. I didn't see Ever, since he was busy preparing for his guests. The evening is finally here and my palms are getting sweaty. As I'm preparing a table, the doorbell rings. They're here. Marina hurries to open the door, and I throw a glance in her direction. Ever also comes to greet his guest and I see there are some of his guards too. Three men entered the room, they were familiar but I don't know their names. They greet us and Ever leads them to his office.
For now they didn't care to bother about me, I guess that's good? I slowly let out the breath I've been holding.
"You can go now Y/n, you helped more than enough." Marina must've noticed I'm feeling nervous.
"I'll just go change and come back to help you some more." I say back kindly.
No matter if I'm feeling nervous I want to help Marina, she did a lot for me. And it's because of Ever too.
"It's not necessary..." She tries to convince me.
"Don't worry." I smile and nod my head, then head back to my room.
