Chapter Seventeen

We have more interviews once the second half of the season comes out and I'm doing a interview with Jamie today which should be fun. I actually have a cold aswell which isn't ideal but I'm powering through. We're sat down for the interview now "Welcome Jamie and Eden. First off congratulations on an amazing season you both gave some really incredible performances" they say "Thank you we worked really hard on it and I think we're really proud of what we did. I have to apologise if I sneeze or have to blow my nose at any point during this interview I'm sick and dosed up on cold medicine" I say "And she still looks incredible doesn't she. Joe is a lucky guy" Jamie says "The wonders of makeup and having Jamie as a friend" I say "You two knew each other prior to Jamie joining this season so that must of been nice for you Jamie having a familiar face around" they say "Yeah I met Eden through my girlfriend Jess at one of my shows and we instantly hit it off and even though we didn't have that many scenes together it was nice being able to spend so much time together and properly hang out" he says "When they told me Jamie was joining the show I was so happy and I knew he'd be perfect for the role and I loved getting to spend time together their were many a double date during filming Jess is actually one of my bridesmaids aswell and Jamie is one of Joe's groomsmen it shows how close we all really are" I say "I love that. Will we possibly see any Stranger Things elements in your wedding given that's how you met Joe" they say "So weirdly enough we're finalising decorations for our reception right now and we have disco balls incorporated into a floral arrangement from the ceiling which we love and we ordered this really amazing custom neon sign and their will be some classic 80s songs my brother is actually performing at the reception so he's promised me some 80s covers. So that's a little sneak peek into the wedding" I say "I love that your bringing how you met into your wedding its a really cool idea. Back to the show last season we had seen Charley go through a process of finding who she was and finding this new family she had always wanted but this season we see her go through quite a tough time and we see her have problems in her relationship with Steve and distancing herself from the others and ultimately almost slipping into Vecnas clutches" they say

"Yeah I think in Season 3 Charley was very happy towards the end and then she lost Hopper and Billy who she was only really beginning to see a new side to and even though their was nothing romantic between them bar a brief kiss prior to her and Steve getting together she still really cared for him. She discovered that she had parents out there and I think her needing to find them whilst also trying to be there for Eleven who's also going through the same pain and I think her inability sometimes to express how she feels is what causes the rift between her and Steve and Vecna feeds off that" I say "We all know Vecna feeds off fear and guilt and he has a past with Charley just like Eleven does but they have a different dynamic he wants revenge on Eleven for sending him to upside down she's a threat to him whereas he and Charley were more like allies friends even so he doesn't want to harm her" he says "So your hinting at Charley being Vecnas weakness" they say "In a way yes but they end the season on uncertain terms. They both know what it feels like to be abandoned and to be the outsider and to then be manipulated by a sort of parental figure for abilities they barely understood it's a unique bond that they share and something Steve could never truly understand" I say "Are you hinting at a possible romantic history between Peter and Charley or a possible future" they say "There's a deep connection there but there's also a bit of an age gap and I'd love to see it but I think it would be weird seeing Vecna kissing someone but who knows" he says "Yeah I mean I know some people are simping for Vecna but mostly Jamie as Vecna but yeah I agree it would be weird kissing Vecna" I say and we answer a few more questions before calling it a day.

I arrive back at our hotel before Joe and decide a nice hot bath is what I need to feel better even though its summer and really hot here right now. I light some candles, put some bath salts in and put on a face mask and just relax. I hear Joe calling out a little while later and I tell him I'm in the bathroom and he comes in "Hi there" he says leaning on the doorway "Hi" I say "How you feeling?" he asks "Still kinda crappy but the bath is helping" I say "Good I picked up some more cold medicine and I got us some pizza for dinner" he says "That's amazing thank you I love you" I say "Your welcome. I'm gonna change and find us a movie to watch" he says "Sounds perfect I'll be out soon" I say and he comes over and kisses me.
