hand in hand, they walked into battle. his hand in her’s, a wand in their other. their eyes shined perilously. his brown eyes shined like copper and her gray ones gleamed like the moon. light with hope but dark with deliberation.
hand in hand they died in battle. his hand in her’s, blood spilling. their eyes white, like the moon. no more light shined, just darkness. emptiness. desolation.
when you think about it, he forever kept his promise.
he never stopped loving her, even if death attempted to seperate them.
they promised to love each other until the moon disappeared.
but they disappeared first.
