TW: Mentions of abuse and bullying

Finney:
You and Finney were on a walk, he was really upset. He refused to tell you though.
"Finney, I just want to make sure you're oka-"
"Y/n!" He shouted, raising his hand. You flinched. His eyes widened.
"I'm sorry." He said, hugging you. You flinched because before you even met Finney, you had been in an abusive relationship.
"It's...Its okay, Finney." You said.

Bruce:
"Look, y/n!" He said, swinging his bat as if he had hit a baseball about five feet away, but You flinched. Bruce looked at you, concerned. "My love, are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay."
"You sure? You flinched, and I'm concerned."
"Yes, I'm fine. Your batting skills are getting even better though!" You said, trying to steer the conversation to a different subject.
"Y/n, I can see that look in your eyes. You aren't okay. You can always talk to me, okay? Just know that." He said, pulling you into a side hug. You wanted to cry, but if you cried in front of your parents a glass bottle would shatter once it came into contact with your head.

Robin:
You were both hanging out at his house, when he reached his hands out towards you to place them on your shoulders. You flinched harshly. Robin stopped dead in his tracks and stared at you.
"Y/n, why'd you flinch?"
"No reason. Just reflexes is guess." You said before awkwardly chuckling. Robin grabbed both of your hands and placed them in his own, gently stroking them with his thumb.
"Y/n, did you think I'd hit you? I'd only hit the person who did this to you!" Robin stated. You giggled at his suddenly heroic persona and said that you just haven't always had a boyfriend nearly amazing as the Robin Arellano.

Vance:
-He raised his hand.
-you flinched
-he would never admit to it, but he shattered inside.
-asked who the hell traumatized you
-you said it was fine
-he said it was not
-you both snuck into your house and cuddled a lot, despite it not being something he does often.

Billy:
You and Billy were walking on his night time paper route when you guys neared a corner, where your bullies often hung out.
"Hey Billy, I think I know a quicker way to finish your paper route." You said, masking your anxiety.
"Why? I love going on my paper route with you." He said just as you guys turned the corner, luckily, your bullies weren't there. You sighed in relief.
"Yeah, you're right. Let's just enjoy the walk." You said, Billy's dog Cooper wagging out of glee.
You and Billy conversed the entire time you guys walked, until you guys were getting close to Billy's house.
"I Can walk home tonight. You should get some sleep, night shifts must be tiring." You said.
"No, it's okay." He said.
"No, you were yawning a lot. Just go home, I'll be just fine going home alone tonight." You said.
You two argued over it, and you won.
"Alright, but next time I'm walking you home!" Billy yelled as he got closer to his door.
"Bye Billy! See you tomorrow!" You yelled. He got inside and you started walking home.

"Ugh it's so cold out..." You mumbled, hugging yourself. You rounded the corner and there were your bullies standing there.
"Oh, y/n. There you are." One of them said. Your arms dropped down to your sides. The three of them walked over to you, and you stepped back, reaching into your pocket and pulling a small pocket knife your brother, Robin, gave you.
"What're you gonna do with that? Stab me? Kill me? Hah. I bet your scared to even cut me." The 'leader' said before grabbing onto the collar of your t-shirt and lifting you off the ground, his goons coming to both of your sides. The 'leader was about to punch you in the face, when you put the knife to his throat. He paused before laughing.
"Oh wow! I'm so scared of this little puppy, all bark no bite!" He said before laughing.
"Why are you laughing? It wasn't funny!" You said before retracting the knife and cutting his arm that was holding you up. He dropped you and one of the goons punched you in the back of the head, knocking you out.

You woke up to snowflakes gently landing on your face. You sat up and touched the back of your head and checked your hand, there wasn't any blood, so you assumed it wasn't that bad. You stood up and admired the night sky. It was at least eight. You couldn't feel anything so you didn't think the goons did anything else. You looked around, nobody was around. You were scared. You ran home, almost slipping on the ice that had already formed.
You stepped inside and leaned against the door, sighing out of relief as you locked it. You went to your bathroom and looked in the mirror. There was blood on your nose, it looked broken. You also had some bruises everywhere. You quickly rummaged through one of your drawers and pulled out some stuff to help. You bandaged your nose and you could only cover your bruises with whatever you wore tomorrow.

The next day

You woke up, your nose aching. You took some pain meds, threw on a hoodie, wore a greenish gray shirt, and put on some long pants. You did everything else, too.

You were now in class with your hood over your head in hopes nobody -especially Billy or Robin- would notice, but your teacher didn't like this, and felt the need to embarrass you in front of your entire class which just so happened to have Robin in it.
"Y/n Arellano, take your hood off please. You know the rules." She said. You felt heat rise to your cheeks out of embarrassment and looked down as you removed your hood. "Lift your head up please." She added. You lifted your head and noticed everyone staring at you.
"Yo, who fucked y/n up?"
"Damn, that explains it."
"Poor thing, can't even defend themselves."
Everyone mumbled to each other, but Robin looked at you, confused, angry, upset, and sad all at the same time. Everyone was still looking at you, and you felt anxiety starting to kick in. Your eyes started watering, your hands were shaking, your heartbeat was speeding up, and your breathing became irregular. Robin and your best friend, Donna, both started getting ready to help.
"M-Ma'am, May I use the b-bathroom?" You mentally cursed at yourself for stuttering, but she let you. You walked out, but ran to the bathroom and locked yourself in a stall to cry.

Five minutes.
Ten minutes.
Fifteen minutes.
Twenty.
Twenty-five.

Nothing helped, you were getting better way slower than usual. The bathroom door opened.
"Y/n? Are you okay...?" Donna's voice called softly.
"Y-yeah, D-donna. I-I'm...O-okay..." You said through quiet sobs.
"No, you aren't. Please just come out. Robin and this other boy named Billy are really worried for you." She said. You halted at Billy's name.
"B-Billy...?" You asked.
"Yeah. He freaked out when he heard about you." Donna said.
"D-Donna, I c-can't s-stop it..." You said.
"What can I do?" Donna asked.
"I don't know...W-what do you think could help?" I asked.
"Uh, try...(w/h/a) *what helps your anxiety*"
"I've already tried that..."
"Okay, y/n. Here's what you need to do. Breathe in through your nose, count to five while doing so. Hold for two seconds, then exhale through your mouth for five seconds again." You did as she said, but it barely helped. "Try moving around. Play with your hair, jacket, a pencil if you have one!" She said. You did that, it helped a little bit. "Okay, can I come in?" She asked. You unlocked it. She stared at you before giving you a hug. You hugged back and sobbed into her shoulder.
After five minutes, you finally calmed down to just sniffles.
"You ready to go out again...?" Donna asked.
"Yeah...Is Billy and Robin out there?" You asked. She nodded. You said okay and you both walked out. Billy and Robin both engulfed you in a hug, you flinching a bit at the sudden heavy feeling, as if it happened before. They both let go once they saw you flinch.
"Y/n! What happened?! Who did this?! Why didn't you tell me?" Robin asked.
"Y/n! Are you okay?!" Billy asked.
"Yeah, I-I'm okay!" You managed to say.
"Y/n, was it those fucking bullies again? You need to learn how to defend yourself!" Robin said.
"I know, I tried this time! I got a cut on his arm...But he dropped me and I dont remember the rest." You said.
"Well, I guess you need to throw punches now!" Robin exclaimed.
