Chapter 7 - A Reaper

"Ya should pay attention to the important stuff." The stranger said, he seems completely unbothered about killing a person who was dead but came back alive and decided to eat people. "Ahhhhhh! See, this chick's totally dead after all! I told them that I'd collected her properly." He said, (Y/N) moved behind Ciel a bit because she didn't trust this stranger with a lawnmower. Who would? "What is he?" Ciel asked, "You should know them well Young Master." Sebastian responded to his question, (Y/N) was even more confused only because they knew him but seemed like they didn't like him very well. "This one has it alright. Here we go." He said bringing his lawnmowing to her, but it made 4 different recording tape players come out of her. They use them during movies and tapes, but seemed they were playing her own life story until she died. "Shezanna Connor, born on the 23rd of July 1841. Died of shock due to blood loss on the 19th of April 1889. Remarks... none. Investigation done." He said looked like he stamped something in his little book.

"A Shinigami!?" Ciel asked in disbelief, (Y/N) felt uneasy now, she knew that words. She red it in a book when she was learning her English and speaking terms. Of course, one thing she has to worry about now, a reaper. they come to collect your soul when you died. Of course, that happens when you die. But did (Y/N) die? She didn't see a light, hell she couldn't remember anything for that matter. Just waking up in the Undertaker's place no memory whatsoever, she hasn't a clue when or if she will ever get her memories back, she kind of hopes she will but doesn't at the same time. "That getup... don't tell me you're the rumored "Sebastian."? the guy who is confirmed to be a reaper asked the butler. "I have quite an aversion to that name, however... I am indeed the Phantomhive family butler, Sebastian Michaelis. You are?" Sebastian asked the reaper, he did have his hand on his chest, guess all butlers do that.

"The Shinigami Dispatch Association Collection Division: Roland Knox. Taking care of my senior." The reaper now named Roland said with a smile. "You just said you can't kill them unless you smash in their heads but... do you Shinigami know something about the revival of the dead?" Sebastian asked him, "Nope, we don't know any details either. Just... we had reports of corpses whose souls had surely been collected moving around and stuff. So since administration put it a claim saying it was our miss... I came here to investigate, however... this here thing really was a genuine, soulless corpse. Cos I definitely got Margeart Connor's soul 2 weeks ago." Roland said, so seems like they hadn't an idea of what's going on.

"So the dead didn't get revived. It was just the corpse moving... is it possible for a soulless body to move around?" Ciel asked him, well judging by what just happened they were pretty sure it was possible, they almost got killed by one. "My bosses said it was totally impossible, but... the fact remains that they're actually up and about like this so the Shinigami Dispatch Assocation is looking into it." Roland replied. "So the only thing you know for sure is 'if you want to kill it smash it's head'" Sebastian said rubbing his chin, "It's not really 'killing' though just 'stopping their movement'. He said, Ciel grabbed (Y/N) hand, "Look like our only option is forcing Ryan to spit it out. Let's go!" He said having (Y/n) following him right with Sebastian behind him. But they only got so far. hearing the mowing start, they turned to see it coming right at them. (Y/N) closes her eyes preparing for the worst, but when nothing came, she opened her eyes to see Sebatian has grabbed it stopping it from killing them.

"If administration gets wind of a demon on board... you bet you they'll be going 'aren't you just hiding the fact that you let the beast snatch all the souls away'? Don't Cha think that those kinds of false accusations will get me into a looooot of trouble? And I'll totally pass on any overtime. So won't you just vanish?" Roland said, catching (Y/N) way the hell off guard. "I'll go on ahead with (Y/N)! After you're done playing hurry up and follow me!" Ciel said running out of the room with (Y/N). After getting away and close to a stairwell, "I know you heard everything I promise I'll explain everything later, just have to get Ryan and this figured out beforehand. I hope Sebastian doesn't scare you." Ciel said, he actually was trying to make sure she wasn't scared so they can get this figured out. "It's okay... just not what I thought... when I got on this ship." She said, her didn't seem bothered, just shocked seemed like she knew about all this being a real thing, but she couldn't figure out why.

(Y/N) shook her head, and followed Ciel into the stairway first thing to do is catch Ryan.
