Sodapop and Candy

" Let's play truth or dare!" Pony yelled. He's 11 and I'm 14. Same with Steve, Dally and Soda.

"Yeah!" The gang yelled. Im not afraid, I'm a daredevil.

"Everyone in a circle!" I yelled. We were hanging out in the lot. We all were in a circle.

" Who's first?" Darry asked. He's 17 and really cool.

" I am!" Steve said. " Candy, Truth Or Dare?"

"Dare." I said.

A mischievous grin spread across Steve's face. "I dare you to kiss Soda....On the lips." Me and Soda turned to stare eachother. We both turned a bright red.

"Er..... Can we do it later?" I asked.

"Nope. Right now." He said with a smile.

He knew I had a crush on Soda. I told him because we're best friends. All of us are but I told him because he can keep a secret.

I turned to Soda, who is beside me."You ready?" He asked. I nodded. He leaned in and so did I. His lips were instantly glued to mine. I wish it lasted forever. We broke apart and smiled like idiots.

Everyone whistled and all Soda and I did was blush. Steve handed Dally a $10 bill.

After a couple of hours the gang looked like fools. Dally had to walk on all fours for the rest of the day wherever we go, Steve only had his boxers and white T-Shirt, Johnny has to dress like a soc all day, Darry has to wear his mom's dress, Pony has to give me a piggyback ride everywhere, Two-Bit has to shut up and stay quiet ALL day, Soda and I have to exchange clothes. I have to wear Soda's red flannel, baggy, washed jeans, and black chucks. He has to wear my baggy washed jeans, Black T-Shirt and white chucks.

" I better be going home! See ya girlies!" I yell walking down the street. A hand grabbed my shoulder and I punched the owner in the throat. "Candy? What the hell?!?" Soda said in between coughs.

"Soda! I'm so sorry! You gotta warn me! I thought you were a soc!" I tried to help but he convinced me that he's fine.

"Let me walk you home." Soda said." Candy, you're a sweet girl and all the things you do makes me have butterflies. Your smile, wit, care. I could name a billion more things but I have a curfew." We laugh." So I'm gonna sum it up. Will ya be my gal pal til the end of time?" He got down on one knee. He opened a box that had a plastic ring.

"Soda, we're too young for this." I gasped.

"Yeah, we are. But Candy, I love you. You complete me." Tears formed in the rim of his eyes. "Please."

"Yes." I said hugging him. He slid the ring on my ring finger.

"Let's wait. 'Til we're 17 and then we'll get married. Promise." He said.

"Pinky promise?" We linked pinkies.

"Pinkie promise."

"Pinky swear?" He crossed his heart and kissed hi pinky.

"Yup." I walked inside.

"See ya!" I laughed.

I walked into the kitchen and mom and dad were at the table. "Candy. Sit down with us. We have to tell you something." Dad said. I obeyed.

"What?"

"You're moving to Texas. We're moving to Texas." I was mad.

"No! We cant. This our home. I have good friends here! Why so soon?!? I have a life here!!!" I said.

"We already packed most of the house. We need to do the living room. Tomorrow we leave."

I went to call the gang and they said they'll be at the train station tomorrow to say bye. I fell asleep.

The next day

I said my farewells and so did they. We had a couple of tears. My family took the car and so did my siblings. I had to take the train since there was no room.

"All aboard!" The train conductor yelled. I gave them all hugs and hopped on.

"Bye guys!" I waved out the window.

Soda came running near the train and hopped up my window. "I need a goodbye kiss. And your mail address."

I kissed him and I gave him a piece of paper with the info on it. Then he jumped off.

On the paper I promised I'll come back. I hope soon.

Sorry the first chapter sucks, pardon my French, ass. I'll try to update soon but if I don't just remember: I have a life too lol!
