Chapter 1: Arrival

Hearing the alarm ringing, Sebastian lazily got up and got ready to head to school. Putting on a grey beanie, a black and blue checkered button-up, khaki pants, and shoes to match. He got on his bike and headed to school.

Arriving, he slowly made his way to the bike rack. Locking his bike in place, a Porsche parked right next to him. Exiting the fancy car was a handsome guy, that seemed close to his age, his brown hair styled in a quiff. Wearing a burgundy letterman jacket with the number 37 and "Whittemore" across the top.  'A school jock,' Sebastian thought to himself.

The brown-haired jock looked at him, his eyes widened for a quick second, and proceeded to eye him up and down. Sebastian slightly narrowed his back at him. Meeting each other's eyes the jock smirked and walked away. Sebastian was startled by someone else who needed to lock their bike on the rack. "Excuse me," said a voice.

"Oh! Yeah, my bad," not being able to see his face Sebastian made one last look to make sure his bike was secure before leaving inside.

Waiting in the office for about 15 minutes after the bell rang. The Vice Principal escorted them to their classes, the first was a girl named Allison. Before they called her into the classroom Sebastian took the opportunity to ask if they could be friends. "Hey, would it be okay if we hung out during school or something?" Sebastian awkwardly asked. "Sure! We new kids should stick together," she smiled softly.  "You wouldn't have a pen I could borrow, would you? I think I misplaced mine."

"Yeah, I brought a ton I keep losing them here and there," handing her a pen she thanked him before she had to go into her class.

"Ms. Argent come on in," the Vice Principal gestured her inside. "See ya," they both told each other as she went into the classroom.

'Argent? Where did I hear that before?' He thought to himself.

Soon he was sitting in algebra next to the same jock he saw this morning, "So new kid, where did you go to school?" As he turned to see the jock's blue eyes, he melted a little, "Oh, you wouldn't know it's a small town down south."

"I'm Jackson by the way captain of the lacrosse team," he smugly extended his arm waiting for Sebastian to shake it. 'I'm going to regret befriending him sooner or later,' taking his hand into his own they firmly shook hands. "I'm Sebastian."

"So Sebastian. Do you play any sports?" The jock raised a brow inquisitively.

Sebastian raised his brow back at him and bit his lip a little, "I don't play but I do enjoy seeing guys getting sweaty." He said just loud enough so Jackson would be the only one to hear him. Sebastian could swear he saw what seemed to be him finally realizing that Sebastian was gay. By the obvious 'o' shape he was making with his mouth. Unsuccessfully trying to get Sebastian to try out for the team Jackson gave up after a while. When class ended, Jackson had invited him to see them practice after school. Not before dragging him to meet his girlfriend, Lydia who happened to be talking to Allison.

Immediately Jackson and Lydia began making out when they saw each other.

Allison and Sebastian just looked at each other and back at the couple sucking each other's faces off awkwardly. Allison's attention seemed to be taken, she was looking to her right with a smile. Curious he turned his head in the general area she was looking at, to see a guy smiling back. The brown-haired guy's eyes widened when they met Sebastian's, not thinking much of it he just kept an empty expression before being pulled away by his new acquaintances.

"Who's that?" Allison motioned to the goalie who she kept smiling at. "That's...I actually don't know who that is," Lydia squinted her eyes a bit. As the coach started to blow his whistle to start practice. Out of nowhere, the goalie started to hold his head in pain moving frantically. Just then one of the players threw the ball toward him hitting the disoriented goalie on the front of his helmet. Everyone burst into laughter, except for Allison.
