Sonic.Exe : The Disaster

- The Victims -

Tails was fixing up his airplane, the Tornado, it wasn't reaching the speeds he wanted it to reach, and so he was tweaking the engine of the plane a little bit. He had been working for quite some time, and ended up being covered in dirt, grime, and sweat. It had been some time since he had talked to Sonic, about 40 minutes to be exact. Which was weird, because Sonic wouldn't take so long for a break, nor getting back to Tails, he was the fastest thing alive after all. Tails decided not to worry about it, the blue hedgehog would be back eventually, he just had to be patient.

Putting his tools back into his toolbox, and closing the outer part of the plane to secure the parts inside, while wiping some sweat off of his face, Tails decided that he could use a quick shower. He walked inside of his house, which was right next to the garage where he was fixing up his plane, and turned on his shower.

-After Tails showered-

Tails walked out of his bathroom, holding a towel over his head to dry off his soft ears. He walked into his living room, and sat onto his couch. He laid back, ruffling his ears with the towel, it was always the hardest part of his body to dry, because it felt like it'd never dry completely.

-crash- 

Tails's ears perked up, a sound just came from his garage, it sounded as if something large had fell. Tails quickly ran into his garage, only to find that nothing was out of place. Instead of something being broken, something was there.

A red ring. 

It was a giant red ring, the same size as the usual yellow rings that Sonic, Tails, and their friends used to get around to different zones, but the yellow fox had never seen a red one. Maybe it was a new zone? Tails had to investigate and find out. He cautiously approached the ring, touching it momentarily, it had an ominous feeling to it, but this could be a very interesting discovery. Tails didn't wait another second before jumping in

-insert sonic jumping sound here-

Cream the Rabbit and her good friend Amy Rose, were sitting in the grass, picking some flowers, Shadow the Hedgehog was leaning on a tree a few feet away, watching over his partner and her friend. The two were laughing, as they talked amongst eachother. Amy felt as if Shadow were being left out, so she walked up to him, and grabbed his hand softly. She looked into his red eyes, while he stared back into her green ones, and asked him. "Do you want to come join us?" Shadow looked at her, blushing slightly, but responded, "No thank you, I'd rather watch from here." Amy shrugged her shoulders, gave Shadow a quick cheek kiss, and began walking back to Cream, who was playing with Cheese. As she was about halfway to Cream, the ground began to shake.

Shadow noticed the ground shaking first, running up to Amy and Cream, and then grabbing them both as he held them close to him. All three had a concerned look on their faces, but Cream's was more scared, and Amy's was more worried. Shadow studied the ground, still holding on to both girls.

The ground opened, and from the ground emerged a giant red ring. The exact same ring that Tails had went through, but none of the 3 Mobians knew this. Shadow let go of the girls, and walked up to the ring.

"Seems like a teleporter ring.. but why is it red?"

Amy grabbed Shadow's arm, and asked him, "You aren't going in there, are you? It came from the ground all of a sudden, AND it's red!"

Shadow looked back at her and replied with, "It's not going away anytime soon, and, I'll be the one going into it, you two stay back in case it leads to somewhere dangerous."
