Sonic.Exe : The Disaster

- A Strange Place -

"W..where am I..."

Tails must've passed out when he went through that ring, because he was unable to remember passing out before so. He took a look around him, and his eyes widened.

In front of him, was a map that reminded him of Knuckles. The sky was red, there was a red aura around the map, and he saw grey metallic platforms everywhere. Some, you could fly to and back, while others, you could hide and wait something out. Tails wasn't dumb, so he figured that these platforms were here for a reason, perhaps to help him hide from something.

But.. what? Tails wanted to find this out, so he began looking around, looking for someone, anyone, whether they were friend.. or foe.

-BANG-

"OW!"

Rouge cried out in pain. Knuckles and her had went through that ring, and Knuckles ended up landing on her, crushing her sensitive wings. She quickly pushed Knuckles off of her, before standing up and observing the place. Knuckles, wasn't so happy about the situation and started lecturing the bat.

"NOW LOOK WHERE YOU GOT US, I CAN'T BELIEVE I DECIDED TO FOLLOW YOU HERE, NOW WE'RE LOST, AND ALONE, AND WHERE'S THE DANG EXIT?"

Rouge quickly shut him up, holding her hand to his mouth, and dragging him to a hidden wall. After getting there safely, she pointed to what appeared to be a silhouette of someone. Not knowing if they were an enemy or not, they silently watched the figure move around while talking to themselves.

"What... is this place, Rouge?

"I don't know, honestly. But we should be careful, I feel as if we're in danger."

"Agreed. You can stay behind me at all times, I'll protect you."

"As if. I am an independent woman, I don't need a man to protect me."

"But--"

"No buts, handsome. We can protect each other, instead."

"....fine."

"Now, why don't we go look for someone that could help us, and be aware of anything suspicious?"

"You're right, let's go."

Both Mobians began to walk toward a red spring, hopping up and heading to a high looking place. They then decided to stay there and keep lookout, since having the high ground would benefit them.

"Shadow?"

"Mr. Shadow!"

"Hey, wake up!"

"Chao chao!"

Red eyes opened, while seeing Amy, Cream, and Cheese all surrounding him from above. He moved his limbs and noticed that he was laying on the ground. He quickly stood up, making a "hmph" sound and brushing himself off. He started looking around while Amy and Cream talked to him.

"Where are we, Shadow?"

"Ms. Amy, I'm scared..."

"Stay near us at all times, Cream."

"Mr. Shadow, what is this weird place?"

"Why is the sky red...?"

Shadow took a moment to adjust to everything, and then spoke to the girls.

"I don't know, really. Let's stick together, and not separate even for a second."

Shadow started walking towards a bridge-like area, telling both girls to stay behind him. Amy gripped her piko piko hammer tightly, ready to hit anything that got in their way. Cream tried to put on a brave face and held Cheese tightly, but not tight enough to crush him.

Shadow quietly whispered to all three of themselves,

"I'm not sure where we are, but I don't think we're exactly safe. I see two silhouettes up ahead, lets approach them slowly and carefully."

"Mkay!"  Both Cream and Amy replied.

The trio started making their way towards those figures.

-CLANG-

"Now what in the world is this place!? Eggman stood up, noticing the eerie landscape just in front of him. He decided to walk around a bit, not wasting any time. He was going to find Sonic, if he was here, and make him answer his questions, because he knew that that blue hedgehog had something to do with this.

"I am getting way too old for this... Stupid blue hedgehog always getting me caught up in some stupid adventure..."

Eggman sighed to himself. This situation was already dreary enough, but there was no way he was alone, right? There must be other people somewhere, he just had to find them.

He started running off in the direction of the highest place he saw.

"That hedgehog is dead meat when I get my hands on him!"

-POW-

"OUCH!"

Sally landed on what felt like cold, hard metal. Rubbing her head because she felt dizzy, she took a moment to look around. She noticed that she was in this weird place that the evil Sonic had sent her. Remembering his words, "You're lucky I won't kill you here, or yet."

What did he mean by that? Did he send her here to kill her? If so, there must be other people here who are in danger. They probably don't even know anything about this evil Sonic, either. She knew that she just HAD to reach somebody else, before she was too late.

She started running as fast as she could, towards a silhouette  that was walking a little far from her, hoping that this was a friend or a possible teammate of hers.
