"Tag! You're it!" Cat screams as she tags me and runs off into the fields. I chase off after her, gaining speed, and tackle her. "Gotcha!" I yell as she scream-laughs as I tickle her, and her red necklace glitters in my face. "Catalina, Violet, how about you come with us to Asgard? We have some business there, and they have children your age." I hear mother say behind us. "Violet, get off of your sister please." She adds, and I oblige. We both slowly get up, giggling. "Ok, we'll go." I told mom. I don't exactly like going to visit the other realms, but it makes Mom happy, so I do. Me and Cat stand around Mom and Dad as she calls to Heimdall to take us to Asgard. Part of me was excited, because I had never been to Asgard before, and I heard it was very beautiful. We landed on the bifrost, as Mother and Father greeted Heimdall. Me and Cat wore matching gold-and-purple dresses, with leggings underneath, of course, because we were always doing crazy things. We shook hands with Heimdall and made our way onto the rainbow bridge. I gasped as I saw a giant gold castle in the distance. I started skipping on the bridge, leaving my family behind a bit.

We entered the golden palace, and I saw a man and a woman on thrones, with two boys who looked around mine and Cat's age. Cat was a year younger than me, she was 9 and I was 10. Mom and Dad kneel, and tell us to do the same. Cat did, but I didn't. Dad hisses at me. "Violet, please, get down!" I look at him weirdly, and then to the people in front of us. "No! I won't kneel for someone I don't know! What makes them better than us?" I say, loud enough for the strangers to kneel. We don't usually kneel for people when visiting them. "Stand." the man in the chair says. "I'm so sorry for my daughter's behavior, allfather." my dad says frantically. The lady in the chair laughs. "No worries, friends, we have experienced something similar." She says looking at the kid around my age with raven-colored hair. We walk closer to them. I still have my arms crossed. Mom and Dad engage in conversation with the adults, leaving me, Cat, and the two boys. "Hello, I'm Thor, what's your name?" The blonde one says to Cat, kneeling and kissing her hand. Cat goes red. "Hi! I'm Catalina, but you can call me Cat." She says. I roll my eyes. Gross. I walk over to the other kid. "Hey, I'm Violet, but you can call me Vi, what's your name?" I ask him, holding my hand out for him to shake. He shakes my hand and responds. "Loki." He says, eyeing me with curiosity. "Most people go with Thor, especially girls, why don't you go over there with him?" He asks. I shrug. "I don't know. Wanna go do something while they talk foreverrrr?" I ask, dragging out the last word. He smiles and nods, and he drags me through the palace.

Eventually we made it to his room. I was awestruck. My room was pretty big, but nothing compared to Loki's. He had walls full of books, which was a pretty cool thing to me. "Woah." I say, running my fingers along the books. "You like books too?" He asked me, curious. "Yes! Books are the best thing ever !" I reply smiling. He smiles back. We talk about our favorite books together. "So, Vi, do you have any magic?" He asked me. I grin. I've always been fond of my powers, but I'm most definitely not supposed to use them in other realms. "Yeah! I can control sounds! It sounds boring, but certain frequencies can break glass, and knock people off their feet!" I say enthusiastically. "What about you?" I add. "I can create illusions, teleport, and do some other things too." He says, and suddenly there are multiples of him across the room. My eyes widened. "Cool! Can you teleport to other realms?" I ask excitedly. He looks down. "No, unfortunately not." He says. I feel bad for asking. "That's okay! It is still really cool!" I say, trying to cheer him up. We sit down and talk some more about our lives, both taking interest in the other. After a while, Mom comes in looking for me. "Violet, hunny, it's time to go." I frown. I was having a lot of fun talking with Loki. I understood him and he understood me, but most kids didn't. "Mom! Can Loki please come over? Pleaseeeeee?" I beg her, sending her my best puppy dog eyes. "Alright, but Thor will have to be invited too, and only if their parents allow it." She says. I grin at Loki, and we go to get Thor and Cat to tell them and ask their parents. "I suppose it would be good for them to get out some." Frigga says, and we erupt into cheers. "Don't get into trouble now." She says. Thor and Cat say they won't, but me and Loki just nod. I like how he thinks! We all go to the bifrost, and Heimdall looks at me and Loki, amused. I wonder why, I think. He sends us back to my home realm. We land on the grass outside, overlooking our palace. It was big-but nothing compared to Asgards, causing me to feel a bit sheepish. Loki seems to read my mind, because he tries to make me feel better. "Woah, this place is beautiful!" He says, and I smile at him.
