PROLOGUE
Almara Cabrera was planning on staying single for her entire life.
She had been wronged multiple times by men throughout her life and so she vowed to stay away from men and to stay single and be happy.
That plan didn't exactly work out.
Almara met Esteban Ocon through her best friend, Carlos Sainz, and whilst she tried to stick to her rule, she found that she just couldn't.
She had lost faith in men years ago, and whilst Carlos supported her in her decision, he couldn't help but wonder who would be the one to break her out of that mindset.
Esteban was such a gentleman, so caring and open, so supportive and friendly, and despite the fact that she was so sure that she hated love.
She couldn't help but fall for the French man.
He was exactly what she needed in her life.
And she was exactly what he needed in his life.
He had been in quite a low spot in his life, since the year prior he had been left without a seat in Formula One, and when he thought that life was just evening out for him.
He found her.
He found everything that he had ever wanted, and everything that had never needed.
All in a woman who hated love.
