"People are relying on you to be Iron Man and you've disappeared." Pepper's voice came as Isabel opened the door.

"Sorry am I interrupting?" She asked.

"No. I was just telling Tony that he can't pick and choose when to be Iron Man." Pepper replies.

Tony sighs, "I'm not. I just have a lot on my mind. Secret boy bands, a maniac wanting to kill me because of me being Iron Man and you two. I can't let anything happen to you."

"I'm sure we'll be fine. We always have been. Iron Man is needed out in the world, and maniacs will always come after you that's what being a hero does to you... and secret boy band? No offense dad you're not that good at singing." Isabel says sitting down next to her dad.

Tony stands up, "Well, if you two want Iron Man then I suppose the suits should be in good shape." He walks out leaving the two woman alone.

Isabel turns to Pepper, "What's up with him?"

"No clue. Went to get donuts yesterday and came back grumpy." Pepper says.

"Maybe the jelly in the donuts went bad." Isabel jokes.

She knew the real reason, Natasha had told her already. Her father knew about Natasha being a 'double agent' and about Fury and his plans but what he didn't know was that Isabel knew. At least not yet.

"I should probably head downstairs. I have a meeting with a Mrs. Smith, hopefully it's not about getting a cat out of a tree... again." Isabel joked and stood up ready to leave.

"Hold on," Pepper stopped her. "Is there something going on between you two?"

"Who?" Isabel asked.

"Romanoff and you."

Isabel let out a small laugh, "What? me and my assistant? No. Absolutely not."

"Okay," Pepper nodded, "I mean she's probably too old for you." She joked.

Isabel stopped and looked at Pepper, "Too old? She's only 4 years older than me. I'm not that 16 year old little girl anymore, Pepper. I just turned 20 and i'm running half of this business. If I wanted to have any sort of relationship with Rushman, it shouldn't be a big deal. I'm an adult now, even if you don't realize it."

Pepper sighed, "I know. It's just I will always see that little girl that I helped raise, even if you are 20 years old now," She said walking over and pinching Isabel's cheek. "Now, if anything was to happen between you and Miss Rushman, just know that I think she's good for you. I can see how you look at her, that's how your dad looks at me." Pepper smiles before walking out of the room.

Isabel stood there for a few seconds, surprised at what she heard. Did she look at Natasha like her dad looked at Pepper?

She quickly shook the thought from her head and walked to the elevator to head to the meeting rooms.

Isabel had just finished her meeting with Mrs Smith over a cat stuck in a tree again, she never understood why that woman didn't just call the fire department instead. But before she could head back to her office she was informed there was someone else in another meeting room waiting for her but she wasn't given a name.

She walked into the meeting room to see Justin Hammer sat down once again, "Justin, haven't I told you I'm not interested?"

"I know, I know but you can be so much better than your dad, you'd have more control over it than he did." Justin tried to explain.

"I don't want control over anything that concerns war, leave." Isabel angrily let out.

"Fine. I'm not arguing about this anymore, you'll see." Justin says before walking out.
