———————Puppet blinked his eyes open. It was dark, and he could feel a comfortable and familiar feeling around him.
b o x.
Puppet felt around, it really was his box. He felt the top, he felt the side, and he felt the floor.
b o x.
Puppet sighed; it must've been a weird dream. Not a bad dream though. Lolbit wasn't there.
b o x.
Puppet rubbed his stomach. fooood. He pushed on the top of his box to get out and go to the kitchen. Food time.
b o x.
Puppet couldn't get out of the box. Box won't open. Puppet pushed at the walls, still nothing. uh oh.
b o x.
Uh oh im becoming claustrophobic. Puppet froze, then laughed a little. haha. i'm not scared of santa claus.
b o x.
Again, Puppet sighed. This time he relaxed. He yawned and started to fall asleep. He remembered where he was now. in the box.
b o x.
All he could hear was a faint music box in the background, and a muffled conversation from his friends on the outside.
I wonder when i can leave.———————
Foxy woke up to the bright sun in his eyes. He slowly sat up, a bit upset over the fact they weren't back at the pizzeria, but glad that it wasn't raining anymore.
"Puppet?" Foxy turned to him, who was surprisingly awake.
"hm?" Puppet was looking out of the hole in the wall, just like last night. What is there to look at out there? Foxy thought, moving over and looking out with Puppet.
"I saw something interesting, Foxy. It was like, a light coming from that part of the forest... Maybe it's another portal?" Puppet pointed to a very non-specific direction before turning and poking Foxy's head.
"Let's go check it out!" Puppet said, walking quickly past foxy and towards the stairs. "What? Okay?" Foxy sighed as he followed Puppet, but it was obvious Puppet would've kept walking either way.
Puppet jumped over the stairs, not turning and making sure Foxy make the jump after him. Foxy's ears went down, at least it's easier jumping down than jumping up..?
He backed up to get a running head start and jumped over the whole easier than last time.
Foxy ran after Puppet, who was a bit ahead of him, and walked alongside him. Foxy sighed, "Why are you walking so fast?"
"I'm bored. I wanna go back," Puppet shrugged, still not slowing down. "what's up with you?"
Foxy squinted at him and stopped, letting Puppet pass him and then walking behind. weirddd.
They walked out of the building and toward the forest in silence. Foxy looked towards the bright sky, seeing that there were no clouds. What a nice day. ok.. ok.. not the time.
"...Do you ever think about the old location?" Puppet asked as he glanced towards Foxy, who was a bit caught off-guard by the question.
"uh, yeah..." Foxy frowned, "I guess no one ever mentions it?" Puppet continued walking and stared ahead of him.
"I was just thinking." Puppet started, moving a tree branch out of his way, "I was basically in a box for months, and then boom, a completely new place. everything changed." Puppet shrugged, kicking at the grass in front of him as he walked, "and yeah, that boom was literal."
Foxy frowned, "I don't really remember anything after the wedding."
"I don't remember anything at all. For seven months."
Puppet and Foxy kept walking in silence until they reached an opening in the forest. There was a large tree in the middle with a glowing light coming from higher in the branches.
"Puppet, Look!" Foxy pointed dramatically, breaking the silence. "Is that the way back..?"
Puppet shrugged, "Maybe?" They looked at each other and then started walking towards the tree. "Huh. That was super anti-climactic. At least we can get back now, I'm hungry."
"yeah.. me too." Foxy agreed, thinking for a moment, "I feel like that should have been more difficult?"
Puppet and Foxy helped each other up the tree carefully, nearly falling almost seven times.
"we're almost there. just gotta get a bit higher." Foxy said, "Puppet, boost me up so I can reach the edge of that branch."
Puppet helped Foxy up, and a moment later Foxy pulled Puppet onto the branch too.
They could see the portal now and were getting closer.
Foxy laughed as he climbed, "I hope the others aren't annoyed that they didn't get to come with us."
Puppet shrugged, "I wouldn't have been annoyed if I were them. nothing really entertaining happened."
Foxy shrugged, "hah, well you screamed like a girl when you ran out of that building yesterday." he smiled, continuing, "I'd say that was pretty entertaining."
Puppet rolled his eyes and frowned. He continued climbing the tree until they reached the portal.
Puppet frowned as he looked down, "We're pretty high up... let's just go through the portal and get back home."
Foxy nodded and reached his hand towards the portal, hesitating and pulling his hand back to him.
"uhm... you wanna go first?" Foxy laughed awkwardly, gesturing towards the portal.
"No way." Puppet said, "I think it should be ladies first." He smiled and sat down on the branch to wait for Foxy to go through.
Foxy shrugged and went to go into the portal, suddenly spinning around and facing Puppet after realizing what he said.
"hEy! I swear to god, we solved this like 4 years ago. I'm a BOY."
Puppet shook his head, "Whatever you say.."
Foxy angrily turned and jumped into the portal before Puppet could say anything else.
Puppet sat there dangling his legs for moment while looking down at the ground far below him. It was cold and windy, and the branches of the tree were still damp from last nights rain.
The wind, and his weight, was causing the branch below him to sway.
Puppet gulped and glance up at the portal. is there a cooldown on this thing or..?
Carefully, he stood up and balanced himself. He walked over to the portal and prepared himself, taking a step back and jumping into the portal.
