My mother knocked on my door , I tried my best to ignore it.
"Jayda..."
"Yes?"
My mother came in the room with me.
"Baby what's wrong? Why you not getting up for school?"
"Mama I don't feel right today. Can I please stay home?"
Every since Pre school , I never missed school and I was always there on time.
"No Jay , come on.. get up"
Ugh she's such a buzzkill .
I got up got dressed and looked at my cheer trophy .
That's all that matters to me right now.
Getting my cheer scholarship, getting to my dream college and all.
Everything else is temporary.
Including Von.
Yes I love him and our relationship but he keeps acting weird.
Today is just the time I wanna call it quits.
Today was our senior pictures day and I didn't even wanna take pictures.
Just hand me my diploma and call it a day.
My mom came out the room smiling at me.
"You look beautiful Jay"
"Thank you mama"
"I wish your father was here to see you"
I wanted to cry so bad. I missed my daddy terribly.
My mom took my pictures outside and then I got in my car.
Next thing I knew Von pulled up.
"Good morning ma, you look pretty "
"Thanks Von"
We drove to school together and then I got out the car.
"You look pretty asl , lemme take you some pictures"
Von took more pictures of me and then I posted em
