ROSE POV

As we arrived at the club, the energy of the party was already apparent. The thumping bass reverberated through the walls, and I could hear the chatter of the excited crowd outside.

Girls in their twenties were lining up, applying bold lipstick and fixing their hair for the night ahead. They were all filled with anticipation, ready for the crazy evening that awaited them.

But as for me, I wasn't feeling the same excitement as them. I was just here for a drink, to pass the time. I watched the people around me, wondering what they were searching for in this dark and noisy atmosphere.

As soon as the bouncer saw us, he immediately let us in. We were VIPs, after all. “This is gonna be lit!” Jennie yelled. We stepped inside, and the noise of the music instantly hit me like a wave.

Jennie let out a shriek of excitement and started jumping up and down. The club was packed, and my ears were ringing from the electronic music. It had been a while since I had been in such a crowded place, and it was almost overwhelming to see how people let their bodies take control over their thoughts.

We moved through the throngs of people, trying to find a place to sit or something to do. On the couch, I saw some girls who were clearly wasted, grinding on each other while sitting on a drunken man's lap. It wasn't my scene, but I didn't judge them.

Suddenly, I heard someone call Jennie's name from across the room “Jen! over here!” We made our way over to her, and I saw how her eyes sparkled when she saw the person who had called her. She rushed over and wrapped her arms around her neck, giving her a peck on the lips. They stayed like that for a long moment before someone cleared their throat.

"Oh, where are my manners? Hello, I'm Lisa. Jennie's girlfriend," the woman said, extending her hand to me. I declined the handshake, but reassured her that everything was fine. Lisa offered us a seat, and I poured myself a glass of whiskey, watching the chaos unfold around me.

People were dancing to their own beat, and most of them were drunk off their asses. The lights were blinding, and the music was so loud that it obliterated my hearing. I shifted my gaze to the left and saw the two lovers giggling and whispering to each other.

I was bored out of my mind. The constant shouting and yelling of the people around me grated on my nerves. I needed a release, and I found it in the form of another shot of vodka. I made my way to the dance floor, unnoticed by anyone.

My body moved to the beat of the music, and I felt a sense of euphoria wash over me. I was lost in the moment, dancing like there was no tomorrow. But then, my arm was suddenly grabbed, and I turned around to see a boy with black hair giving me an icy glare.

The tension between us was palpable, and he held onto my shoulders tightly, continuing to glare at me. It was as if his gaze could pierce right through me. My heart was racing, and I could feel it in my temples. His arms wrapped around me, and I felt chills run down my spine.

His face was mesmerizing, yet inebriated. I stared at him in terror, wondering how..did he able to find me after all this years.

"Noona..." he muttered, and I froze.

How did he manage to find me? I couldn't believe my eyes.
