Rosé's clammy palms hovered hesitantly over the uninviting door of Seulgi's abode, the home of an old nemesis with whom she had parted ways after their last bitter altercation.

Alas, desperation had left her with no other option but to seek the aid of the only one who could provide the succor she desperately sought.

Her body had been plagued by an unknown ailment, and her powers had been rapidly deteriorating, com her to turn to Seulgi as her last resort.

Summoning her courage, Rosé tentatively knocked on the door. After a moment of eerie silence, the rusty hinges creaked open, revealing Seulgi's austere countenance on the other side.

"Raven," she said in a frosty tone, her face an unreadable mask. "What brings you here?"

Rosé inwardly rolled her eyes, recognizing the familiarly frosty reception. Their interactions had always been characterized by a hostile, standoffish demeanor.

"I told you not to call me that name anymore," Rosé replied, she continued, "I need your help" keeping her voice steady despite the irksome tone.

"I see," Seulgi said, arching an eyebrow. "What seems to be the problem?"

Rosé hesitated before confessing her growing weakness, her vulnerability making her feel like prey in front of her predator.

"I've been feeling unwell, and I believe it may be related to my powers," she muttered in a barely audible voice, hoping that Seulgi would not deride her for admitting her fragility.

Seulgi's eyes softened slightly, but the gesture was merely a faint glimmer in the sea of her unrelenting stoicism.

"Come in," she gestured, letting Rosé into her enigmatic abode, an abode filled with eerie objects and the faint smell of herbs and incense that served to heighten the feeling of discomfiture.

As they sat down, Seulgi's piercing eyes scrutinized Rosé with a shrewd gaze that left her fidgeting nervously, feeling like she was under a microscope.

"What have you been doing all these years?" Seulgi asked.

Rosé rolled her eyes, irritated by Seulgi's small talk. "Can we skip the pleasantries and get to the point?"

Seulgi shrugged. "I'm just curious. It's been a long time."

Seulgi leaned forward, her eyes fixed intently on Rosé. "You've been pushing your powers to their limits, haven't you? Using them for personal gain, manipulating others. It's affecting you, physically and spiritually."

Rosé felt a pang of guilt, but her resentment simmered beneath the surface. "I have power, and I'll use it. It's not my fault I was born having this." she spat, her tone low and resentful.
