As I stand in front of the flashing cameras, promoting a product that I know lacks any real value, I can't help but feel a deep sense of emptiness inside. This is the life of an influencer- constantly selling out for a quick buck, sacrificing authenticity and integrity for the sake of likes and followers. It's a hollow existence, devoid of any real substance or meaning.
But as I reflect on my own life, I realize that it's not just the world of influencers that's lacking in meaning. For centuries, I've been living the same mundane existence, watching the people I love grow old and pass away, while I remain here, a solitary figure in a world that no longer feels like home.
Although the notion of being solitary holds little appeal to me, I find comfort in the fact that my bank account overflows with riches.
It is disheartening to see some of my influencer peers trade their bodies for money, indulging in infidelity with married men or women, and accepting lavish gifts from sugar mamas and sugar daddies. In today's society, money has become the ultimate currency, more highly valued than love or integrity.
The endless pursuit of MONEY - this is what drives our world today, leaving little room for anything else.
