Once again our heroes are riding on Lapras's back, as they continue on their journey towards Navel Island, where Ash would take on the second Orange Crew gym. However amidst the cheerful atmosphere, the ginger-haired gym leader sat in melancholy, as she held a pokeball in her hand.

She reminisced her journey with this pokemon, and despite her sincerest efforts this water type has not opened up to her. And for that she felt ashamed. She always had a strong bond with water types, so it was frustrating to not be able to befriend this one, especially considering it was one of her personal favorites.

However these thoughts were interrupted by a cry from Lapras. However this time it wasn't a happy one, rather her voice was filled with fear.

"What's the matter Lapras?" Ash and Misty asked at the same time, however this wasn't the moment to notice the coincidence.

Lapras said something and was clearly disturbed. However Ash put a hand on her head, petting the transport pokemon. He then spoke softly. "Don't worry Lapras. It's probably just passing by. And even if they're here to harm you, I won't let them!"

Everyone wondered what made Lapras so afraid, when they found a yacht approach. They wondered if it was related to Lapras's family, however seeing that the water/ice type had calmed down a little, they felt it was probably just her fear of humans. So they let that be.

When the yacht approached closer, they could see the person riding on it. It was certainly a familiar face. They frowned on noticing the pink haired teen. Ezria. However Misty noticed another old man who eas also in the boat, and she was shocked.

"Ma-Master Mustard?" She stuttered. The boat had slowed down and was traveling in toe with the group, and Lapras was feeling uncomfortable. Everyone else had a wary frown, however Misty was still in shock to see the old man in the yacht.

"Ah... one of the Waterflowers. You must be the smallest one... Misty right?" The old man asked.

The group was surprised as they realized the old man knew who Misty was. Misty herself was feeling nervous. "Yes... Master Mustard." This time her voice was more audible.

"Oh, it's lovely to see how much you've grown. Why don't you all join us here?" The old man asked, inviting them to the yacht. Ezria frowned, however she didn't protest.

Seeing that this old man meant no malice, everyone decided to give it a go. One by one everyone climbed aboard, Misty and Ash being the last ones to do so. Ash then returned his pokemon and looked at their hosts.

"Oh, where are my manners? I'm Mustard Nice to meet you all." The old man laughed.

"Oh, nice to meet you. I'm Ash and this is my buddy, Pikachu." "I'm Serena, and this is Togepi" "I'm Drake" "And I'm Diantha" The four of them introduced themselves.

"Looks like you've got quite the companions Misty. So, how's Urshifu doing?" Mustard asked, focusing his attention to the ginger-head.

Misty came back from her thoughts, and instead of replying she took a pokeball out and summoned the pokemon.

"Oh, it's good to see you too little one." Mustard said to the pokemon, who was at least a good three feet taller.

"Little one?" Ash asked in confusion. Clearly Urshifu was taller than Mustard by a few feet.

"Oh, don't mind him, he's always goofing around if he isn't battling." A sweet voice came from another direction. Everyone turned around to find a beautiful brown haired woman. "That's my Hubby for you."

"Hello Miss Honey." Misty greeted the woman politely. "It's wonderful to see you again Misty. How have you been?"

"Well, I'm traveling along with my friends on a training journey, so that I can take over the Cerulean gym when the time comes." Misty replied enthusiastically, however she then realized she hasn't really trained much.
