Dipper's POV:
For a while I've been stressing out over the fact that Bill's statue is gone, which could mean that he's out there. But I'm starting to think that I might just be paranoid. I haven't been here for a long time after all, it could've just withered away or something.
I might as well be all worked up over nothing. It's already night and the thought of Bill being out there is keeping me awake.
Sitting up from my bed, I look over to my sister who's peacefully sleeping in hers. I carefully got off my bed, making sure that I was as quiet as possible as I left the room. A little time on the roof would be a great way to clear my mind.
Making my way to where the ladder to the roof was, I started to climb it. Once I reached the roof, I felt the cool wind from outside brush my face.
After getting situated, I stared up at the moon. It was bright and shiny, almost like an eye peering down at me. With a dark and long spot in the middle of it, almost like a pupil..
Hey wait a minute-
Manic, annoying laughter began to pound on my ears as a blinding light covered the moon. I shielded my eyes from the light. There was no way this wasn't Bill, after all, I recognize that stupid laugh from ANYWHERE.
"Well, well, well! If it isn't my favorite Pinetree!!" Said a voice. Bill. I lowered my hands from my eyes, sending him a glare, "Bill." I gritted my teeth. I couldn't stand his presence, not after everything he's done.
"Just thought I should stop by to see how the mini Sixer is doing." He spoke, leaning back as he crossed his legs, resting his hands behind where his head would probably be. God, it was sickening, seeing him in front of me, alive and well.
"I thought we killed you already!" I immediately spat back at him, standing up. I prepared myself mentally for whatever he had in store.
The wretched triangle rolled his eye, shifting position and clasping his hands together. He giggled before speaking, "Right, you 'killed' me. Don't think you can actually get rid of me!"
I groaned from annoyance, I was so close to socking that little shit in the eye. "Come on! I'm sure you missed me, admit it, you missed me~" I clenched my fists together. Something about this was familiar, like we've been here before.
And we've had. That's what was even more sickening, the fact that he was here. Again. "I've already had enough of you, we've defeated you before and we'll do it again." He continued to laugh at my statement, "Yeah, okay! As if." I hated this. I hated him.
He seemed so confident that we weren't going to kick his ass again, it was starting to make me feel small. But he always had that effect, but I wasn't going to let him get the best of me.
"It's nice to finally meet the full collection, Pinetree. With Y/N now here I might as well add them to the game." I felt every muscle in my body froze. Y/N. I don't want them to get involved in the things they have no business in.
I promised our mother that I wouldn't let anything bad happen to them but now that Bill is here, I don't know whether or not keeping them out of danger is within the question. "Leave Y/N alone." I said sternly, tightening my fists.
"Or what?" He asked rather threateningly, starting to float in circles around me, "What are you going to do about it? You sure as hell can't protect them from me, so what makes you think I'm going to keep my hands off?" If he had a mouth, I bet he'd have a shit eating grin.
I stayed quiet for a long time, I didn't know how to even respond to that. He was right, afterall, I wouldn't be able to keep Y/N out of his reach. They were going to get tangled up in this mess anyways. I just hope this wretched being hasn't already gotten to them.
