Chapter 2

After receiving Archie's phone call, Michelle hurried around the house and grabbed a change of clothes before getting into her car and driving towards the Firehouse for the second time that day. 

Michelle helped around the school sometimes when they needed extra hands and it appeared that she was the least irritating parent-figure attendant which is why Coach usually asked her for help when he was short on helping hands. 

Arriving at the Firehouse, she quickly rushed inside towards her nephew and his friends. "Coach asked for you to come see him when you arrived" Archie told her after seeing her, but before she could give a reply she heard the obnoxious voice of Coach Finstock calling for her. "Michelle!" "God, can that man be any louder at 8.45 in the morning?" she grumbled, making the four kids laugh, and unbeknown to her, also the firefighters standing in the corner, before turning towards coach. "Coach! What can I do for you?" she asked him, after walking towards him which unfortunately did not stop his loudness. "We're here invited by the Chicago Fire Department and the Chicago Police Department. I need you to keep the four delinquents in line and follow the instructions of the people in charge." Coach informed her, making her a bit annoyed by him calling her nephew and his friends delinquents but that was probably also because of the lack of coffee this morning. She often called them delinquents herself so she couldn't really say anything. "Got it, Brad. I'll keep an eye on them" she told him, purposely messing up his name to annoy him a bit "It's Bobby." he said, making Michelle reply "of course, Brian" which made him sigh, look at her annoyed and say "you're almost as annoying as those four" making her laugh while walking back towards the table her nephew and his friends were sitting at who high fived her for annoying Finstock this early in the morning.

"Reggie, Nate and Luke are staying over tonight" Archie told his aunt after she had taken a seat at the table, making Michelle say "alright. What should we-" she started asking the group before she was interrupted by a really attractive voice saying "Mrs. Andrews?" making her turn around towards the source and seeing an extremely hot firefighter in front of her "Oh it's just miss, but please, call me Michelle" she told him, blushing a bit when he grabbed her hand and said "I'm luitenant Matt Casey" before pressing a kiss on her hand, making her turn even more red at the action. "Nice to meet you luitenant Casey" she stammered out, making him say "Please, call me Matt" making her heart beat even louder in her chest. "I'm Joe Cruz" Joe said, interrupting the pair and introducing himself, soliciting a quiet growl from Matt for taking the attention of his mate away from him.

Michelle Andrews was mated to luitenant Matthew Casey and he couldn't be happier. She was beautiful and from what he had heard she had a kind heart. He knew he had to share his mate with Kelly and Jay, but he was happy he had met her first. The firefighters of Firehouse 51 and the Intelligence Unit of the 21st district were made up by werewolves. This made their jobs much easier as they were much stronger and faster than humans. 

"Okay, so we are going to start with a tour. If you could follow me?" Cruz said, leading the tour, so Matt could walk at the back of the group with his mate. Walking around the Firehouse with his mate made a sense of pride go through Matt. They ended their tour in the locker room so the group could change in their workout clothes for the drills they had thought of, making Matt offer Michelle his office so she could change in private, making her accept his offer while shooting him an award-winning smile in thanks. Leading her towards his office, he gently put his hand on the small of her back. An action that made her heart beat loudly in her chest which he could her, as werewolves had better hearing than humans. That also explained how he and Joe could hear her comment to the boys about Finstock's loud voice earlier. Opening the door to his office he told her he would wait outside for her, giving her the privacy she needed. 

While she was changing, Matt texted Jay telling him he found their mate and she was at the Firehouse right now, making Jay respond that he was on his way and would be there as soon as possible to meet her. He decided he would introduce her to Kelly after she had changed as he would have appreciated to meet his mate as soon as possible if one of the others had found her.
