Michelle really didn't have a clue what was going on with her, Matt, Kelly and Jay. She just met them but she felt so comfortable around them. It made her feel weird, like a lovesick teenager.
She excused herself away from Matt and Kelly, making them look at her questionably. "Be right back" she just told them before asking the nearest police agent where the bathroom was.
Splashing some water in her face she looked at her image in the mirror. She couldn't get the three guys out of her head and being apart from them somehow hurt her. This was getting ridiculous. She must be imagining things, she thought, trying to explain to herself why she felt what she felt.
Deciding to keep a bit of distance from all three of them, she walked back to the group where Jay, Kelly and Matt seemed to be on edge until they saw her. It was like a weight lifted off their shoulders. Same goes for Michelle, not that she would admit that right now. But instead of going back to her original spot between Kelly and Matt, she went and stood with her nephew and his friends. Catching Matt's eye he mouthed "you okay?" towards her, making the girl quickly nod before quickly looking away.
"Okay, now your coach is going to divide you into groups and we can start the program. If there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask me." Jay said ending his speech and walking back to Kelly and Matt asking them lowly what had happened for their girl to walk off and stay away. "I don't know man. I felt her confusion and a little pain when she was away from us." Kelly said, making Matt add "I think the bond is working harder than we just thought but it's causing a lot of confusion for her."
The three men were interrupted by coach calling all groups and their supervising adult. Michelle was once again in charge of the group her nephew and his friends were in but they were put under the supervision of Jay as well, much to his relief. Telling Matt and Kelly he would try to talk to her about it, he walked off towards the group.
"Hey guys. You ready for the tour?" Jay asked them, making Reggie immediately respond that he was. He was really looking forward to this part as he was always interested in becoming a detective. He latched on to Jay and asked him questions about almost everything making it impossible for Jay to talk with Michelle. However, he was happily answering the questions as he knew Reggie meant a lot to Michelle.
Halfway through the tour, Adam Ruzek joined the group and started talking to Michelle. Now this annoyed Jay. Adam was new to the intelligence unit and clearly did not feel yet that he was talking up Jay's mate. He just thought she was hot and started flirting with her. That's why Jay mind linked Erin Lindsay to join the group as well and "get Adam the hell away from his mate". Hearing that, Erin rushed towards the place where Jay said they were because she knew Jay would snap in a minute and that wouldn't do him any good with his mate.
"Hi guys, I'm detective Erin Lindsay and I will be joining you as well for the shooting drill." She explained, walking towards the group while signing towards Adam to get the hell away from Michelle. "We really get to shoot?" Reggie asked, almost beaming at the thought of actually doing something a cop would do. "You do, yes" Erin confirmed, laughing a little. "Hell yes!" Reggie said, fist pumping, making Michelle let out that giggle that Jay had come to love already.
Adam was teaching Luke and Nate and Erin was teaching Reggie and Archie. This left Michelle and Jay off to the side. "You want to try?" Jay offered, making Michelle say "I don't think I'll be very good" "I'll help you" he said, holding out his hand for her and walking her towards the empty slot. "This is how it should look" Jay said, demonstrating. Noticing his mate was definitely enjoying the view of his demonstration. "Come here" he said, putting the practice gun in her hand and wrapping his arms around her. "A little higher, I'll help you with the kickback" he almost whispered in her ear, making her blush. He could hear her heartbeat getting faster, making him smirk a little bit, enjoying the effect he had on his mate.
"Just like this"
