I would like to thank Anina19 for being my very first comment on my very first book! Take her as a role model, and comment!
Please note that this chapter is REALLY short and REALLY boring, so brace yourself
Anyways...
Chapter 13:
Horrified gasps and wails of sadness sounded throughout the clearing as the bloody remains of Robinsong's and Redkit's bodies were dragged in.
"What will happen to us?"
"Did StarClan abandon us?"
"It'll pick us off one by one!"
Stormstar clawed his way of the Great Tree, hauling himself onto Branchtop.
"I think we are all gathered," he began, his eyes clouded in grief. "The deaths of Robinsong and Redkit were unnecessary. In the meantime, we have two kits without mothers. Would anyone step forth and volunteer for that job?"
As he spoke, his own mother, Tallspirit, slowly made her way to the front. "I will care for Lionkit and Foxkit."
"Very well, we also have the issue of patrols to discuss. I want at least four warriors in camp at all times. I know it is much, but we need to take caution," and with that, Stormstar gracefully leaped down and crawled back into his den.
After that, Badgerstripe shouldered his way through the murmuring crowd.
"Rowanstorm, Bluefeather, Emberblaze, and Silvercomet will stay in camp at all times today. I want Redclaw, Bearfur, and Wildpaw to check the entire territory to make sure the bear left. And the rest of you, return to your duties."
No matter how big and mean Badgerstripe was, he made a fine deputy. He stayed calm when every other cat was panicking, and he was soft and gentle to the kits.

Thistlestar stared at him, wide-eyed.
"H-how did you know?"
"StarClan.."
"Eaglepaw, you're not telling me the full truth, are you?"
"No," is all he said.
"I'm your leader as well as your father. You tell me right now," Thistlestar demanded.
"It's just..I heard this voice once. It told me that Hawkpaw would defeat the monster, and I wondered what Hawkpaw had to do with me. So I thought it was just the wind...but that night StarClan visited me," he finished.
His father closed his eyes for what seemed like a moon, then he reopened them.
"I see. Go to sleep, Eaglepaw."
He nodded briskly and hustled back out, running to the apprentices den. He nearly crashed into NightClan's deputy, Fallenleaf.
"What're you doing out here?" She inquired, no hostility in her voice.
"Uh..dirtplace," he lied. She tilted her head slightly with a disbelieving look, then nodded.
"Get back to your den," she said, to Eaglepaw's relief.
He pushed through the bramble easily, as NightClan's pelts were thick and adapted to plants like that. He noted that Flamepaw and Batpaw were huddled close together, as the nights were getting colder. He settled down away from them, as he was more of a loner. He pushed the frightening thoughts of the clan finding out about his half-Clan heritage, and swiftly he swirled into the wonderful dreams of hunting wondrous, fat snakes in his rocky territory.
-----
Short, boring chapter. I'm sorry..really sorry. Honestly, I'm sorry. Sooner the next chapter comes, the better.
Anyways, I would like to note that Eaglepaw is NOT a physco cat because he hears voices, got it? It was only StarClan.
Toodles!
