Pico is absolutely amazing.

He's so nice to people. So caring. So much fun! Whenever I walk into the school, his bright smile is right there to start up my morning.

"Keith, Good morning!!"

He could be so gentle towards people. Helping them out whenever he could. Even if he didn't necessarily feel like doing it, he still put others before himself.

I admired that about him.

"Don't cry about it dude. If you want, I can help you ace it next time."

"You'd seriously do that..?"

" 'Course I would!"

When he was upset himself, he never really told anybody. Because he was positive everything would go right. He was like an optimist. I wondered if there was a day where he'd ever stop smiling.

I think my admiration turned into something more.

But I just couldn't put it into the right words.

"Really? Well thank you. You too!"

"Yeah..! I..-"

The only words that came to my mind, were 'I love you'. But I had to be mistaken. It wasn't love.

Time and time again, I had been confusing my feelings for love. But what I was really doing, was suppressing my love for him.

I didn't realize it at the time. We were just highschoolers. Not to mention we were both guys. He probably wouldn't even be into me if I confessed to him.

Each time I kept thinking I loved him. And I wanted to tell him that. But what if things escalated, and everything fell apart?

..That's how I felt.

But eventually, things still fell apart. It all came tumbling down like a landslide. And we were both caught in the middle of it.
