More training

Hidan

3rd Person's POV

As the three went to the main room, Hidan had a good idea. "How about some friendly training. Take your mind off everything?" Hidan suggested to Kayden.

"For once, Hidan's right. You do need to train, and it will take your mind off the past events." Kakuzu said.

Kayden nodded her head with a small smile. "Sure sounds good." she said.

Hidan, Kakuzu, and Kayden headed outside of the base to go train. "How about some weapon training instead of jutsu training?" Hidan asked Kayden. Kayden nodded her head.

"Sure, but you're not gonna win against me and my scythe." she said with a smirk.

This caused Hidan to smirk as well, and he raised his scythe. "We'll see about that." he said.

The two got into positions and pulled out both their scythes and raised them. Hidan nodded his head at Kayden and started running towards her, swinging his scythe. She easily blocked his scythe with hers. She smirked and kicked him in the chest causing him to grunt and fall backwards. "No fair, I said weapons, not physical!" he yelled at her.

Kayden's POV

I laughed at Hidan, "sorry but I don't fight fair, and neither do you." I told him with a smirk. He started smirking as well. Hidan's not the greatest and physical fighting, because he mainly fights with his scythe or he does his ritual. He's a long range fighter, meanwhile, I'm a close combat or a long range fighter.

I then backflipped into the air and landed a few feet away from where Kakuzu was standing which was by a tree. I pulled out some kunais and I sent them flying towards Hidan. He actually managed to dodge them with ease. I smirked and I disappeared into the shadows. I jumped into a tree and I saw Hidan and Kakuzu look around with confusion.

"Where'd she go?" I heard Hidan ask Kakuzu.

"I don't know, I didn't see where she disappear to." Kakuzu told him.

I smirked and I pulled out a smoke bomb and I threw it on the ground. Just because it's training, doesn't mean I'm gonna take it easy on Hidan. Kakuzu went easy on me with my jutsu training, but I knew Hidan wouldn't, so I'm not gonna go easy on him. The smoke appeared and I jumped down and I drop-kicked Hidan, making him fall to the ground and I placed my scythe at his neck as the smoke cleared.

When he could finally see me, he was shocked how I topped him so easily. "Wha- h-how did you do that?" he asked me.

"It's my best move. I disappear into the shadows and throw a smoke bomb to stun my enemies before I drop kick them and do exactly what I just did to you. I wasn't gonna go easy on you because I figured you wouldn't go easy on me." I told him as I got off him and helped him up.

"Damn, that's some quick thinking and you're definitely smart. See, I told you that you would feel better after some training. You're back to your old self already." he said with a small smile.

I smiled back at him and thanked him. "Thanks for suggesting it." I told him. I saw Kakuzu roll his eyes and use his threads to pull us away from each other before dragging us back to the base. "Oh come on Kakuzu, we have legs!" I yelled at him. He just ignored me. Hidan and I huffed at this before just allowing him to just drag us, not like we had a choice though.

Itachi

3rd Person's POV

After Itachi talked to Ahma, the two headed to the kitchen for dinner. "Well least we know she's not dead." Hidan joked.
