My parents were divorced and hence I lived in two different places. My mom and dad both married, after their divorce, with their new love lives. I don't have any brother and hence the only child between the two couples. It was strange how they (my parents) still were so comfortable being around each-other and still be good friends.
My custody stated that I had to be with both my parents; so I had to spent alternate year with mom and the next with dad. Mom had married Cavin, who is a traveler, knows a lot of languages, love to know new cultures and each year use to shift his stay; and so I had to too. This was one of the reasons why I had skills of being an introvert and took time to make new friends because I din't had any permanent ones. Whereas, my father lived in Los Angeles with Emma, she is sweet but we do not mingle a lot. They own a bungalow, just the one like a girl dreams; big windows, private pool, three stories, a big lawn with different trees fencing the place, a view of the mountain from each room of the house and best of all near to the ocean, so you even get the beach fun. I loved to be with my father; not just because of the house and my room, but he is a lot of fun, he understands me better than anyone in the whole world and gets me things that I don't even expect to have with me, like that big teddy in the room and that laptop, also the iPhone 6 that I am currently using. It is shocking for a few, when they get to know that I am not that close to my mom compared to dad! But most of all I loved them; at least they don't make faces for each other, like usual divorced couples when they cross in public or meet in parties; I don't know how but they had also become very good friends after the thing.
I had visited many places because of the obvious reason, Cavin and his hobbies. I have drive round so many places, that you could say that I have been on a world tour. I have been to Paris, Rio, London, Sydney, Cape town, Agra, Honk Kong, Dubai, Rome, to the great Sphinx in Egypt (I don't remember the name of the place, but never mind!) and many more. Most of the times we visit the place and come back, but not this time.
We shifted to New York City, and I had joined the last year of high school. It was difficult to but we finally managed.
