Harry, Daphne, Sirius, and James were all having a shared detention. They were in the Hospital Wing cleaning up and fixing bedsheets. Snape and McGonagall combined their detentions and handed the four over to Madam Pomfrey, who insisted on taking them in. Harry couldn't blame her; there's only so much a woman can do by herself, with or without magic.

"Jamsie, catch," Sirius said, throwing something his way.

James looked up a bit too late and the object fell to the ground. The group heard the glass shatter.

"You moron, why would you not catch it?" Sirius asked exasperatedly.

"Why would you throw glass?" James replied.

"You're a Chaser for Merlin's sake. That's your job."

"I don't catch glass, Padfoot."

"Absolute idiots," Daphne said to Harry over their bickering.

"Amen to that," Harry laughed.

"What?"

"Muggle stuff, never mind." Harry waved his hand and the glass repaired.

The two continued to work and listen to James and Sirius argue over whatever the problem was. Harry was starting to understand what everyone meant when they said they had a brotherly relationship.

"Hey," Pansy said, interrupting their argument as she entered the Hospital Wing. "Guess who's joining you for detention."

"You?" Harry asked.

"Obviously," Pansy rolled her eyes, ruffling his hair.

"What'd you do?" Sirius asked, picking up his fallen broom. He had always enjoyed sweeping, never having done any chores at Grimmauld.

"Slapped a bitch in the face. With my fist."

"You mean you punched someone? Who?" James asked, sitting down on the bed.

"McLaggen. He's really annoying, kept bothering Hermione," Pansy shrugged.

Harry narrowed his eyes. "Are you kidding me? He's weird; Draco and I had to watch over you guys at the party the other day cause he kept glancing your way."

"That's what I'm saying," Pansy groaned. "He's harassing Hermione and yet I'm the one who's in trouble when I help her out."

"You should've done more than just punch him," Daphne said. "I'm not close with Granger, but she shouldn't have to deal with that."

"Sirius, should I dye my hair pink again?" James asked, turning his way.

"I think you should. I'll do it with you."

Pansy sighed. "Pass me a broom, might as well get this over with."

Harry handed her it and continued his work, the others joining him sooner or later.

"I'm sorry," Hermione said, running up to the black haired girl. Pansy looked at her in confusion. "You shouldn't have gotten detention just because McLaggen was bothering me. I'm really sorry."

"Darling, it's fine. McLaggen shouldn't be bothering you to begin with," Pansy shrugged. The two continued walking down the empty corridor.

"How was detention then?" Hermione asked, matching her steps with Pansy's pace, ignoring the blush spreading across her face.

"It wasn't that bad. James, Sirius, Harry, and Daphne were all there so- Darling, are you okay? You're all red," Pansy noticed, stopping in her tracks to look at the girl.
