Zeke

"Don't forget to pack this as well," I heard a servant say to someone as I walked out of my room into the corridor.

"Good morning, Prince Zeke," a guard greeted me as I passed, and I nodded.

I jumped down the stairs, strolling quickly through the hallways until I reached the dining hall. I pushed the door open, and the chatter stopped immediately as all the heads turned toward me. My eyes searched for Emriana, finding her sitting between Zander and Drakkar with a smile on her face. She looked up at me and sent me a smile.

"Zeke," she called, and I walked around the table toward her, ignoring her family watching me with curiosity. I bent down over her and grabbed her lips between my own, taking the opportunity to nibble her lower lip like usual. I liked it when it was swollen.

A cough made her move away from me, and I looked in that direction to see Lorino watching me with a glare. I smirked at him, pecking her lips one more time before taking a seat next to Drakkar.

"I'm glad you could join us for this meal on your last day here," Cassemir said with a smile, and I nodded, grabbing a grape.

I felt Zander and Drakkar's stare boring into the side of my head, but I paid them no attention as I ate. I didn't want to talk about yesterday.

"Emriana, I have to show you something before you leave later," Lorino said, and she smiled as they started talking with each other. I listened to her melodious voice the entire meal, never getting sick of hearing it.

"Queen Krolf, you will have to come back some other time," Queen Rosina smiled at her, and Mother smiled as well.

"I would love to," she replied, and I took a moment to realize how huge this was. Ekudal and Nelovia had been at war for as long as I could remember.

"Once your sons will take over, you should have more free time for yourself," Rosina said, and although she only meant well, I noticed how Drakkar, Emriana, and Zander tensed slightly at her words.

"That is true, I guess. I will have to find something to do. Maybe Emriana could teach me to paint?" Mother smiled at Emriana, who blushed profusely but nodded. Fuck, that girl was cute.

The rest of the breakfast went smoothly, and soon, everybody left to do their own things. Emriana left with Lorino and Cassemir after telling Zander she would spend the last few hours with them before leaving.

Queen Rosina and Mother looked like good friends by now, and they left together, talking about subjects so dull I could die, which left me alone with my brothers.

POV Switch to Emriana

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Lorino repeated for the hundredth as we walked toward the front of the castle.

"Yes, I will," I laughed, but he didn't seem convinced. Lorino had voiced his disapproval of my relationship with the triplets many times, and I couldn't really blame him. He had spent his entire life hearing horrible stuff about them.

"You will write to me once you get home," My father said as we walked down the stairs.

"Yes, of course," I smiled. Akira followed us close by.

"If they do anything to you, I swear, I will feed them to that tiger," Lorino grumbled and I raised a brow.

"Sure," he rolled his eyes at my response as we approached the three boys waiting for me by the entrance. I turned to Lorino, and he looked down at me with a smile.

"So I guess this is goodbye for now," I smiled, and he nodded. "I'll be back in a month for your wedding, I promise,"

"I know you will, big sis," he said, ruffling my hair like always. I smacked his hand away from me, and he chuckled.
