"God Hope, can't you just move on already!" Lizzie exclaims for the umpteenth time that day. She doesn't know why it's bothering her but seeing Hope so defeated really irks her, in a way she really doesn't like.
"What's the point! Everything I've done has been in vain! Malivore might not be a threat any more but LANDON IS DEAD!" Hope shouts back, trying and failing to cover the tears prickling in from the corners of her eye.
"Exactly! There is absolutely nothing you can do about it! So why don't you stop trying to find a way to turn this situation into a opportunity to use your patented Hope Mikaelson 2-in-1 Hero and Martyr Complex and move on!" Lizzie rebuttals, though she already knows it'll go nowhere, it always does.
"Just...leave me alone Lizzie!" Hope says, stomping out of the library she's been hiding in, not wanting to see all of their classmates staring at her, giving her pitiful glances. Now that, that was something Lizzie could understand. Watching her storm off frustrates Lizzie to no end it's been a month since Landon died, and Hope has been having a hard time finding a new normal. Scratch that, she's not trying to. Walking back to the cafeteria, she racks her brain on what she could possibly do to help. Not that she cares or anything no, but if Malivore does find a way back, she wants a peak Hope Mikaelson there to protect the school.
Sighing as she walks into the lunchroom, spotting Josie with MG and Penelope, ugh Penelope. Locking eyes with Josie, she gives the same sad shake she's had to give the last month, nope, she's still not here. Even though everyone knows, MG still asks,
"How's Hope doing?" Lizzie again sighs. It's not MG's fault, but this whole situation is exhausting. If she doesn't find a way to fix this soon, she's going to have an attack.
"Not that it's any of your business, but she's well on her way to recovery" Lizzie lies through her teeth "Now, if you'll excuse us riff raff, I need to have a little chat with my sister" MG huffs, and Penelope scowls, but a pleading glance from Josie is enough to get her to lay off, leaving her with a kiss to her cheek making Josie as red as the freshest rose.
Once they all had left, and Josie isn't shell shocked she turns to Lizzie and asks "alright so what's up" Lizzie looks at her and with a sideways glance behind her as if anyone would dare to intrude on Lizzie saltzmans conversation, and then says, "we need to help Hope"
Josie chuckles, "now THAT is something I never thought I'd hear"
"Im serious"
"Me too"
"Josieeeeeeeeeee" Lizzie frustratingly pleads. Grasping at her hands, now interlocked with her in the center of their table.
"You know that this is not my specialty, being nice to Hope has always been yours, but I swear to god we have 5 classes together this year and I sit next to her in 3 of them. If I have to be around her mopey ass for one minute more, I'm going to burst!" She says, rattling the chandeliers above them just a tad.
"Alright fine," Josie laments, "I'll help you" Lizzie grins, knowing that the hardest part (hopefully) was now over.
"What should we do?" Lizzie asks excitedly, wanting to get a move on with the plan.", whatever it is.
"Well, I would say a good start is surrounding her with family and loved ones, but due to recent, developments I don't know if there are any she'd really want to be around, excluding those 6 feet under. And us of course. But we're not the kind of loved one she needs right now... right now he's-" Josie pauses, obviously uncomfortable with the conversation trying to choose her next words carefully.
" Dead. Goner. Deceased. X nay on the alive nay. Killed by Hope. Ect,ect" Lizzie lists off carelessly.
"Ummmmmmm yeah, so I don't really know what our fist course of action should be, it's not like we can just replace -" before she can say anything else her words cause Lizzie's eyes to glean, stuck with an idea.
"That's it Josie! She just needs a new Landon! Obviously, not like a creepy replication Landon, but like a new guy! Then she'll be good as new!" Lizzie jumps about, proud of her own plan.
"This is such a good idea! Oh Josie! Thank you thank you thank you thank you! I'll be sure to invite you to their wedding!" She stands up, prepared to start her search for elegible bachelors around the school.
"Lizzie, I'm not sure about this. This wasn't really what I meant" Josie says, but her low volume questioning is tuned out but Lizzie's pride glowing.
" thanks for the help sis! God what would I do without you! I better start making a list! See you later! Love you!" And with that Lizzie is off on her journey to play Cupid, and Josie has a terribly uncomfortable feeling in her stomach, one she just can quite place. She shrugs it off. There's nothing else she can do about it as for now and heads off to her next class just as the bell rings signaling lunch's end.

Lizzie's sitting in her room, exasperated. This was so much hatred than she thought it'd be. Her thought process was quite simple and she just can't understand why nobody meets hopes requirements. Did she ask Hope for her requirements... well no. But she knows her well enough to know that there are just some kids that aren't an option. Also, she's a super powerful tribrid and we can not have another Landon situation, where she had to go around saving them all the time. Yes them. She decided not to restrict Hope to a certain gender, assuming that this was going to be hard enough already.
Out of ideas she goes to Josie and is blessed with yet another incredible plan, this one actually Josie's intent, "why don't you just create a formula? Ya know, like a set of filters or requirements that weeds out all other students until your left with only the best matches for her"
She almost kissed Josie, but was far to excited to get started with this new plan to do anything but immediately make a list of requirements for whomever hopes soon-to-be lover was. It was quite a small list, but none of the requirements seemed to be that easy of tasks.
"Okay so, ideally hopes match is," Josie starts rereading the list one last time just to make sure, "Loyal,Powerful,Smart,Charming,Stable, Good-Looking,okay with the whole: your entire family consists of murderers, already close to her/ has had one conversation with her at least, and is not as gloomy as she is" with that, Josie finally takes a gasp of air and looks over at Lizzie, they'd done good. "Alright, now let's just run the algorithm!" Josie is Abigail to press the button, when Lizzie stops her.
"Actually sis, thanks for the help but I've got it from here. Don't wanna take up too much of your time"
"Well if you change your mind I'm here!"
"Yeah yeah alright, now bye" Lizzie says, practically shoving her out the door of their shared room.
" go swap spot with your girlfriend Penelope or something you think I don't know about. Because trust me, I do."
"We're not together! We're just testing the waters for now, nothing to serious" Josie figits "anyway... I'm going to go now" she says closing the door in her wake.
"Alright time to get down to business, let's see this liiiiist."
And with a simple press of a button, a domino effect begins...
