This is a romance where the main male character messes up spectacularly but grovels his way back to a happy ending. This is a motorcycle club romance and will be gritty and dark in parts. I wanted to write something heart wrenching and angsty.
In this vein, the first chapter is a heavy one. It has a consensual sex scene that comes about via mistaken identity, Wren believes Taylor is her cousin Casey, who he has always been interested in. Wren is very drunk and their time is not an enjoyable one, despite being consensual. The scene is meant to be heartbreaking and hard to read, Taylor is also a virgin so it is not pleasurable for her.
