14. "smile" Jay x Jake

Jay sighed as he watched his boyfriend of two years drive into the college parking lot on his motorcycle. He just waited for Jake by the tree nearby so the other could have his little moment of having 'the perfect entrance'. Jay didn't mind the other doing these kinds of things, since he found Jake's whole 'bad boy' persona quite amusing considering what he was like when it was just the two of them. 

"Hey, how was your morning?" The older of the two asked as Jake walked towards him with his hands stuffed in his pockets. "It was alright." Jake answered plainly, finally in front of the other. 

"I was wondering, do you wanna go out tonight? It's a friday and our exams just ended." Jay asked, reaching for the others hand. Jake blushed a little when Jay took his hand in his but just pulled it away. "N-not here Jay..!" He whisper-shouted at him, looking around to assure himself that nobody saw it. 

Jay rolled his eyes at Jake's behaviour and the fact that he didn't even answer him, deciding to just leave it since the younger was always like that with him in public. Maybe he just didn't like PDA. Or he didn't want people to know that he was actually really clingy and affectionate. Whatever it was, Jay didn't care too much. Sometimes he would get annoyed by how big and fragile Jake's pride was, but on most occasions he let it go. 

"Whatever.. when are your classes? I'm assuming they're in the morning since you're here early." Jay said to him. "Mine are actually later today. I just wanted to come see you.." The Australian boy admitted, looking away shyly to hide the pink dusted across his face. Jay could feel himself slowly starting to smile, his heart fluttering at the thought that Jake came all the way to campus just for him. "You really didn't have to come all this way just for me.." He sighed out, a soft smile still evident on his face. He really did appreciate it, since Jake usually never does this. 

"But you're my boyfriend, and I really do care for you. Of course I had to do this." Jake said. He quickly checked the time on his watch to see that it was almost time for Jay's classes, so he looked left and right, front and back to make sure nobody was around or watching, and leaned up, pressing a kiss on Jay's cheek. Jay had never smiled harder before, Jake was finally coming out of his shell. "What was that for?~" Jay grinned out, attempting to hold Jake's hand and for the first time ever, Jake finally let him. "Because I never really took the time to appreciate you, so I want to change that now.." He confessed, smiling timidly. 

"I love you so much, Jake.." Jay grinned out, almost tackling the boy with his hug, his arms wrapped tightly around him. 

Jake could only hug back, forgetting about their surroundings. "I love you too~" He hummed out.
