Stacy came when I called her but started shouting as soon as she came and that too in my ears, "Linaahhhh!!! Did you hear about the new CEO??? Gosh!!! I heard that he so so handsomeeee!!! Like in England, he was so popular among girls! But you know what? He didn't even look at them!!"
I roll my eyes on her words and scoff, like how can she be like that? I know she's my best friend but not gonna lie, that's kinda cringe cuz it's his life and we aren't in any position to talk about his life let alone his love life.
"Stacy! Stop it. It's kinda cringe you know. We shouldn't talk about someone like that behind his back", I tell her.
"Stop being a granny girl. Grow up! We're almost 26 now and you're still talking like a kid...", she replied.
If I think about her words again, she's not wrong though. I am almost 26 now and here I am with only Stacy to hang out with.
