You just finished doing your chores. It was like REALLY REALLY hard. You had to cook chicken and a whole meal for the family while you just got to eat pea's. Sigh. You just walk up to your room, and flop down on your bed. Trying to get some sleep. The covers shift in sync with your movement trying to get comfortable. Since you can't get any sleep you just get up and stare out the window. A shooting star!! Wow. ok.. (Y/N) don't mess this up! 'I wish to have a best friend forever' (with this face :D ) Then you decide to actually TRY to go to sleep since that's the rules of a wishing star. You slowly drift off to sleep with a pleasant smile on your face.
--------2 hours later------ Midnight----
You wake up to nothing in the middle of the night. You rub your eyes . Adjusting them to the dark. Your eyes land on a small box... You walk over to it and put it on your lap. You read the tag
" L-Laughing Jack In the B-Box. Laughing Jack in the Box?" You read aloud. You turn on the light by your bed side. You start to turn the lever.
round and round the mulberry bush, the monkey chased the weasel.... The monkey thought it T'was all fun...
"Pop goes the weasel.." You whisper sing. But it doesn't work. It doesn't say 'pop goes the weasel'
Some things wrong with the box. You should have known better than to get your hopes up for a silly jack in the box...but its ok you've been let down plenty of times before.
