Alicia

"I do know what to do. I'll be coming at your house in few hours,ok? Don't drown yourself in tears by then. See you later, love ya!" And the other line went beeping. Most of the time I can predict what she is thinking but today my brain had a burnout and couldn't think anymore. I still feel this agony of the mess I made. I know I broke up with him willingly but I'm still debating if it was the right thing to do.

It was 9 something when Steph and Pearl came. I told them everything about my meet or perhaps last meet with Shaun. And now I'm sitting here in my chair while these two are getting me ready for I-don't-know-what. I looked at my reflection and pitied the girl in front of me. ' I'm supposed to be dad's strong girl, what happened to me? I shouldn't be self doubting much. I guess what I did might turn out well or turn my world upside down. And it's not something I could change.' By the time I finished my self-helping speech, these two literally changed my look, in a good way. "Judging your face I guess you like what you see!" Pearl squealed. When it comes to fashion she got the best. "We are going clubbing. And I'm not asking, just informing you. I know you hate it, but trust me we'll make you enjoy it. Atleast it's better than being a zombie like you were a few mins before." Steph said and we all burst into laughter. The laugh felt so good and hearty that I forgot the numbing pain inside of me.
Honestly, I'm not a clubbing person, but it felt good dancing the stress out. "I'm going to bring some mojitos, y'all want some?" They nodded and I made  made my way to the bar. On my way I bumped into some guy, I immediately apologized but the lights were too dim to catch a glimpse of his face. When I was back, Pearl wasn't there anymore, I motioned Steph. "She went home early, looks like it's just the two of us." After a few drinks I felt bored and was getting a little sleepy. We decided to head home and it was getting late too. "You know Al, I'm so proud of you. Even though you did a little stupid thing about leaving him, yet you are staying strong. Most of the time I don't know what goes in your mind but I hope it's for the best. Sometimes I can't bear to see you cry, it make me cry too." And that's how Steph started sobbing, honestly I thought she was drunk. "C'mon let's go, you don't need no man. I'll protect you!" I smiled and we started walking, all of a sudden a man came a grabbed Sera's purse and ran. I tried to chase him but failed miserably.

We were sitting at the police station, waiting for some officer to assist us. A tall man with heavenly structure came in and sat in front of us, damn Alicia get a hold of yourself. Our eyes met and I could feel some wild connection. He sat down in front of us, "Tell me how I can assist you young ladies." Steph nudged me to speak up, honestly I was too stunned by this heavenly man in front of us. "Umm-... Yea so we were walking down the street and someone stole her purse. We tried to catch the person but one cannot sprint in heels"  I gave out an awkward giggle. After all the formalities and form fillings, we were headed out and it was getting incredibly late. "If you don't mind I can escort you two. It's quite late and not safe too." Steph screamed 'Hell yea!' and that's how we ended up in a Mustang of the verryyyy kind officer. We reached my place soon after we dropped Steph. I thanked him earning a small smile. I didn't even drink much yet I was feeling flushed and hot.
After returning to my pajamas, I felt at ease. Everything felt peaceful, it was mostly those 5 drinks in my system talking but I felt, ...... Good?
