Acnologia Retires

Chapter 1

In the country of Iceberg, atop a large frozen mountain laid a dragon. A black dragon, black as the night with blue patterns that seemed to be glowing in the dark of the cave. The black dragon has awoken from its 200-year slumber.

Acnologia has awoken to the feeling of stiffness from sleeping in a cold and frigid cave for over 200 years. The black dragon stretched his large, stiff muscular body while trying to also regain his muscle memory and with a groan, he got up shaking the icicles of him.

' ... I'm hungry...' were the first words Acnologia thought of since he woke up.

Acnologia's POV

As I got up the only thought that went through my head was. '... I'm hungry...'.

'Ugh... it's so difficult to move... too stiff..', I thought trying my hardest to transform to my human form which was also difficult. After a few more tries I was able to transform into my human form.

"Woah, that's the best sleep I've had in...since forever. I feel great!".

GRRRRR

" Maybe I should get something to eat before my stomach eats itself".

With that I started to head down the mountain, luckily it wasn't a blizzard out there, not like it will affect me.

"Let's get some food".

Time skip

"Why is it so hard to find something to eat around here", I said searching the snowy land for any signs of life. Everything was covered in snow, even the trees and mountains everywhere.

"Maybe I should try looking for a village or something".

GRRRR

"GOD I'M STARVING!!!!". I need to find a village quickly, maybe they might have something to satisfy my hunger. 'Let's go'.

Time skip (I'm lazy)

Huh?? I think I hear people, a village perhaps? I walked to the edge of a cliff when I got there and there down below was a city, a small city.

"Hmm...Humans", I said uncertainly. 'Oh well, I can't keep hating them forever now can I', I thought while jumping off the cliff. I landed a bit away from the city and walked the rest of the way there.

The city had quite a lot of people, vendors selling winter clothing, accessories, and other things I don't know about. As I walked through the city, I received plenty of looks from people, some disturbing and others wary. I know I look quite intimidating but I didn't care, I was hungry and I am determined to find some food.

While walking I came across a rest-au-rant, a restaurant, 'Goddamn even my brain is slow'. I went into the restaurant, it was pretty warm in here, probably some sort of magic. I went up to the counter to find a woman with short black hair, pale skin, brown eyes wearing a yellow dress.

"Hi, welcome, is there anything you need?". Huh...oh she's talking to me.

"Um...what do you have?". I was unsure of what to do...

"Well, we have a few choices on the menu. Would you like to look at the menu?" An offer?

I nodded. She handed me the menu while I took a seat on the stool. It's been so long since I had human interaction, even though I was a human once. I finished looking at the menu, everything sounded appetizing, I'm not sure which to pick. And so I made up my mind.

"I-I'm done" Ok why the hell did I stutter. I sounded stupid. Ugh...

"Okay, what would you like then?". She said taking the menu from me.

"I want...everything". Silence. Pure and utter silence. Everyone in the restaurant got silent when they heard my response. Then the whispers started:

"What the hell"

"Is that guy serious"

"No way". And so on, like I can't hear what those dumb asses are saying. Tch. So annoying.

"Um... what did you say". What did I stutter?

"I said... I want everything on that menu. Do you understand me now".

I spoke slowly for her to understand me better. I don't know why they're so shocked, after all dragons eat a lot all the time. So yeah hurry with my food lady. Wait they don't know that I'm a dragon, do they...Whatever.

"Y-yes s-sir", she stuttered while going in through a door that must lead to where they cook the food. I still got weird looks from the humans in the restaurant.

"What the fuck are you all looking at", I growled while glaring at them. They obviously got scared shitless and went back to their business. After a long wait, the food was ready. They had to get several people to bring it out.

'Ah, finally'.

Author's POV

Everyone was on utter shock as Acnologia practically inhaled the food he received. When Acnologia finished he felt like all his energy skyrocketed, he got up asking how much was the meal.

"It's 12,000 jewels, sir", replied the counter lady named Historia. No one thought he could be able to pay such price, cause he looked poor. No one was expected what happened next and it took them by surprise.

Acnologia reached his hand to the top of his head and started to pat his head then brush his fingers through his hair pulling out four gems, a green, red, purple and blue and placed them on the counter.

"Is this enough?"

" WHAT!!!!", everyone yelled in disbelief.

"huh..."
