~ 6 years later ~
Taylor, Joe and their 6 years old daughter were living a really happy life. Annie was a dream kid. Listened to her parents, well...most of the time, didn't cause much trouble in general. She was just starting school and she was practically bouncing off the wall cause she just couldn't wait for tomorrow to finally step into the school building like all older kids.
„Annie! I swear if you don't come here right this moment, I'm gonna explode!" – Taylor was having a hard time getting her to calm down after she told her they were about to go shopping to get her some new clothes for school
„Tay, calm down, give her a minute and she'll get tired from all that running" – Joe tried to make the situation a little bit calmer cause the house was gonna lit on fire in a matter of minutes
Taylor sighed and leaned against the fridge closing her eyes. Joe was always the calm one in their marriage. Taylor was the one who tended to blow things up and get nervous when something didn't go exactly as she planned.
„Okay mummy, we can go now!" – Annie ran into the kitchen wearing her shoes the other way
„Babyyyy, look at your shoes! We need to fix that!" – Taylor said laughing a little bit
„But why??? They're fine!" – Annie was clueless and confused.. what was wrong about her shoes?
„Yeah, almost honey... look, you have your right shoe on your left foot. Can you sit down on the chair?"
She did and Taylor helped her fix the problem and they both headed to the mall. Joe had to stay cause he had something apparently important to do.
„Mummy!!! Look at this dress!! Can I get it please please please!!!" – Annie was totally in paradise... that store had s omany beautiful dresses and she loved dressed the most in the world„Let's try it on first, but baby, we do not need to scream, okay? Look, there are many other people here that maybe don't like screaming, right?" – Taylor politely explained to her daughter
Annie nodded and after a while they went to the cloakroom to try everything on and by the look of it, it was gonna take a while... Annie chose about 13 dresses... But Taylor knew she got it from her, she was always obssesed with dresses as well when she was a kid so.. it just came along in genes...
Eventually after about 3 hours of shopping, walking around the mall with 5 bags full of clothes and stopping in pretty much every store that had a dress in the shop exposition , they finally went back home.„Daddy, look what I got!" – Annie ran to the living room where her dad was sitting with his laptop not even caring about taking her shoes off or washing hands
„Woah! Show me!"
She was so in love with every single thing she got that she was practically throwing it all at Joe and he genuinely struggled to keep up with her. Taylor stepped in after putting the keys on the shelf and taking her shoes off and couldn't help but laugh seeing Joe under a pile of clothes.
„Wow Annie, you're gonna look so amazing in these! Did you pick them by yourself or did mummy help you?" – he asked while trying to get these clother off of him
„Well, mummy helped... but I chose this one alone!" – she showed him a pink dress with butterflies all around it
„You have a really good taste, just as your mom" – he smirked at Taylor and she just shrugged her shoulders
„She has to have it after someone, right" – she said playfully and Joe stuck his tongue at her and she did the same
„Hey! Don't stick out your tongues! It's rude!" – Annie stepped in
